I keep my eyes open for spanking related cards, sadly I didn't find any this year. This one I sent to P a few years ago (bought online)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
How's your Christmas preparations going - all done?
Tree and decs are up, our cards have been delivered to neighbours. Still have presents to buy and wrap which hopefully I'll do over the weekend.
Wanted to pop into let you know I wont be around after today (unless I can sneak time to myself) I've scheduled some posts.
So - Merry Christmas. Have a fun weekend.

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas.

New Hairbrush
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Day.
This lady had a present she wasn't expecting. I wonder if our friend Hermione received a new hairbrush in her stocking.
Enjoy today.

The Boss in the Kitchen
I know I've said this before but probably quite a while back so newer readers may not know it but my husband is a decent cook. He comes from a line of chefs/caterers and we have had our share of catering businesses in the past and, although he doesn't do it any more professionally, he is nevertheless genetically programmed to cook. Well.
So at Christmas, if we're at home Christmas Day which we will be this year, he's definitely the boss in all matters culinary. As it draws closer P tends to spend more time in the kitchen and our meals leading up to Christmas tend to get more glamorous, perhaps it's his version of getting into training. We can't use granulated stocks, thickening agents or proprietary additives to make life easy at this time of year, it's all rouxs and meat bones, fish heads and jus. Bought-in brandy sauce? Forget it, start off with butter and plain flour, he tells me, if it's worth doing it's worth doing properly. Yes I did say he tells me, because you see I have to act as commis for him and he chivvies me around to keep me on my toes and he expects me to get things right.
I don't mind actually, I've learned loads from him over the years and I like him telling me to do this and that and how to get it right, and stopping to explain something if I do it wrong. And then there's the pats on the bum to encourage me and threats of more than pats if I get the same thing wrong twice.
That hasn't happened yet but agirl commis can imagine.
Have a fun weekend.

How's the holiday's going? Hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas.
We've still got Family with us until later today. It's great to have kids around and it's nice to have a buzz around the house but I won't be too sad when they head off south. That's not me being nasty, honestly, I love Christmas I really do but once a year is enough.
I had some wonderful presents and even had a Christmas spanking. As the weather was mild and dry I persuaded our guests that a nice bracing walk on the chase would help work off some turkey and Christmas pudding, their kids had a remote control aeroplane to test too, so off they went while I cleaned up, P stayed to help me and took advantage of me bending over a kitchen work top to give me a few spanks with one of our wooden spoons.
It didn't last long and it didn't hurt, it wasn't meant to, but it made me want more and I taunted my husband to see if he could do a better job. He told me to hurry and if I got cleared up quickly enough he'd do a much better job and put me over his knee for my cheek. That got me working at lighting speed.
Unfortunately our guests returned sooner than we thought, the weather was good but there had been rain leading up to Christmas and the ground was really muddy, they didn't have appropriate footwear so they came back. Ah well, so I was left horny and needing to go over P's knee which wasn't going to happen. Instead I cheerfully resumed perfect hostess mode, I did make a point though of dropping little saucy comments to my husband through the rest of the day, keeping a private undercurrent going, I also unreasonably challenged P's answers when we played games later.
I hope he remembers:)

Father Christmas Came Early to our House
P gave me his for "our eyes only" present, a senior bamboo cane, it's 32" long and made from Kooboo Loontie Rattan which is apparently the finest and, according to the manufacturer's blurb, gives great flexibility, superior sting and lasting depth.
Goodness I never knew it was so technical, it sounds like some of the wine reviews we get:), all I ever really know is the effect a cane has on my backside and I'm sure I'll be getting to know this one soon enough.
P said the manufacturer is in Coventry (less than an hour from us) and he has sound proofed testing cubicles where clients can go and 'try before they buy'. I'm sure P was joking about that, god I surely hope so, Gulp.
Anyway here it is:-
Note the suppleness and the clear and lasting line when applied correctly.
Hopefully they'll be some R & R to follow, as it won't be a punishment, not as far I can tell at the moment anyway. Might not be this way around though.

How's the holiday's going? Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
We still have family in and out until tomorrow, two of them are kids who we don't see all that often and they were shy and quiet as mice Friday evening but they've made up for it since, they're into everywhere and everything, I daren't leave my laptop lying around let alone sit and use it without someone peeping over my shoulder. So I've been reduced to posting from my Nokia which I can shield from prying eyes. Still, Christmas is for kids right? Big or small.
I had some wonderful presents and even had a Christmas spanking before the team started arriving, our son was collecting some of them and P had a few moments, in between basting turkey twirling parma around asparagus and a hundred other things he had running in the kitchen, to spank me. Not the one I wished for and it didn't last long but was still gratefully received. P used the shoe horn I bought him for Christmas as a joke.

It was son who spotted it when we were out shopping together in Ikea. Suggested I buy it for his dad (there's a standing joke in our house about P taking ages to get his shoes on) so with my son's blessing I bought a spanking implement LOL.
Catch up with you all soon.

Early Present
So how are the holiday preparations going for everyone, I know it's a busy time of year for reading and writing posts so I'm keeping it short today. Nearly finished at work, can't take Thursday off because if I get orders I have to respond, even though I think it's doubtful on Christmas eve, but then I'm off till Tuesday 29th. Yea!!. P's only tidying up, he said he was running his side of the business down but he's half planning a trip to Qingdao for mid late January, if it comes off I want to go but that means organising someone to take care of my web sales, ah well we'll see.
Had an early Christmas presents from one of our vanilla friends who's going away over the holidays, flights and weather permitting. She came round for dinner last night and we exchanged presents. P opened one of the packages it was addressed to both, and read out the card 'Merry Christmas to you both, I hope P makes use of it'. P held up the present, looked straight at me and said "Janet, thanks, it's perfect and I will be making use of it, I promise you.'' It was wooden pasta spoons with a tall spaghetti jar and a spaghetti measurer. She knows P loves to cook and that we love pasta but she really has no idea about TTWD.
So at least I sort of got one of the presents from my naughty wish list. I think it could be used to provide me with another of my naughty wishes, here's hoping.
Won't be around for a few days after Thursday.
I want to thank everybody who visits here and wish you all a Very Merry fun filled Christmas and hope 2010 is a healthy, happy, prosperous and spankful one.
Love.

Christmas Tension

It happens every year, I imagine it's the same or similar in most families. It is a wonderful time of year, especially for the kids and for those amongst us who have kids around to keep us acting like them. But there is also stress, it's unavoidable, it's in shopping, budgeting, meeting deadlines, what to wear for this and that 'do', who's visiting who.....and then for us - or more accurately me - there's P's mom.
Now I haven't mentioned her much for several months, not since I got a proper humdinger of a spanking for acting up over her, but that doesn't mean she's not been around and it doesn't mean there hasn't been any friction. There has, not much I'll admit but still cropping up periodically. Saturday I got spanked because of her, not a humdinger like that last time but still, it wasn't a prelude to sex so it was a put me in my place spanking, and I've been warned not to get stroppy over the arrangements for the forthcoming festive holiday, which I've no doubt I'll be reverting to later and probably more than once.
But let me tell you what happened to get me spanked on Saturday and I'm sure you'll see my side. The cause of my sore backside happened two days earlier, Thursday night actually, we took P's mom out to our favourite little Italian the one I've told you about before, it's nice and we are regulars but at Christmas time, space is at a premium, we didn't book, they had no tables but they did have some space upstairs, an area they normally keep for party bookings. My fault for not booking, anyway we went upstairs, it was half full, the atmosphere wasn't the same, we were seated by the widow and it was a cold night, P's mom was chilly she pulled her jacket around her shoulders, I asked for the heating to be turned up a bit but for some reason the staff couldn't do it and the boss wasn't in, P said it was OK but I told the girl we'd have to forget the meal because we weren't comfortable, we'd go somewhere else. I got dirty looks from P and his mom but for gods sake I was mainly doing it for the sake of his mom, anyway our girl came back two minutes later and said they were relaying a table downstairs for us if we could hang on.
To cut it short, we got the downstairs table but I'm sure everybody thought we were picky customers and actually P's mom told me downstairs she felt a bit awkward after me making such a fuss. Huh! So we ate in 'awkwardness', me being the villain for just telling the truth and speaking up on behalf of P's mom. It was alright eventually, food was nice and we dropped his mom off at the end of the evening in a good mood.
Then on Friday we had few words because she called and invited us out for the following week, in other words later this week, and I didn't fancy it and told P I didn't, we're due to see her next weekend and we'll be seeing a lot of her over Christmas. P said he'd diplomatically avoid it but on Saturday morning he went round to fix a garage light fitting for her and when he got back he told me we'd be going out on Thursday. ''I thought we'd agreed you were going to skip over it somehow,'' I said but P said I'd enjoy it and she'd asked if our son was free to bring him along and she was bringing her sister too. Great, she's about four years older than P's mom and always seems to have something to moan about whenever I've met her.
''Well that's bloody marvelous, it's my Christmas too you know, there are local services providing entertainment for the elderly, why not point your mom and her sister in their direction?'' P didn't answer. ''And if we must go I don't want it to be our little Italian again, I got blamed wrongly last week for being fussy, so make it somewhere else and if there's anything wrong they can speak up for themselves, I'm strictly neutral, an accompaniment.''
P didn't like the bit about the elderly and local services and actually I knew it was wrong immediately after I said it, and was about to apologise when P stood up, took me by the arm and marched me upstairs to our spare room. He told me we'd all be older one day and how would I like being talked about like that, think about it he said, as he closed the spare room door and pulled the chair out from under the desk, I could hardly argue, I told him I was about to apologise. ''You'll apologise, I've no doubt about that,'' he said as he unfastened my jeans and pushed them down to me knees ''you'll apologise and you'll really mean it.''
He didn't have to order me or force me, I knew I was wrong, he sat on the chair and I placed myself across his lap, I caught his eye as I lowered myself and said I really was sorry, it didn't make any difference to the outcome. My shirt was lifted, my knickers were pulled down and I was spanked for several minutes with an occasional pause to adjust position or while he let a particular point sink in. He spanked until my backside felt like I'd sat on hornet's nest, not that I ever have, and when I went still, which I do at a certain point when feeling becomes almost numb with pain, he spanked the tops of my thighs too which made me wriggle and squeal and beg him to stop. He did, and a moist eyed sore bottomed girl, who'd made a thoughtless comment, apologised again, this time in a quivery voice and not quite wanting to catch his eye when he ordered me up.
He told me to pull my pants up and let that be a lesson to me and to think about what I was saying and about other peoples' feelings and not to get bitchy again about what had to be done, it's the time of year when everyone makes compromises he said. Well I hadn't been bitchy in my opinion, just outspoken and trying to make a wisecrack which had backfired, but I wasn't about to argue.
A couple of hours later we were choosing cards together in one of the stores, not a hint of tension, and I resisted the urge to choose a funny one about mother-in-laws.
