A Smile for Today

I really like Endart spanking drawings. Shame that Endart finished.

 Oh yes he will

Couldn't make my mind up which ones to share. Hope you enjoyed them.

Leather implements required

Can I be a bit commercial here and put my business hat on.
I'd like to make contact with someone who makes or supplies leather implements, or who has the skills to do so but doesn't currently. Maybe semi retired leather worker or a hobbyist.

You see, I want to add some simple but good leather items to the canes I sell but I haven't so far found a source of supply. So, anyone out there who has a bit of spare time and knows how to work with leather I'd love to hear from you.

Don't be shy, if you know how to make satchels or saddles, belts or sandals and that sort of stuff I'm sure you could turn your hand to tawses, martinets, straps and leather paddles.
I love leather myself, its touch, its smell, it suppleness, the way it ages, I still have my original Leatherthorn which is donkeys years old and seems to get better with age.

So if you've got relevant skills and some time to spare, and share an interest in TTWD, why not mail me, in complete confidence, and we can talk.

Have a fun weekend.

Leather, wood and other things

PK posted pictures of all her and Nick's toys (you can see them here) and asked us to post a picture of ours.

So this is our collection.

My all time favourite from the leather collection is the Rose Leatherthorn paddle. PK sent me the dogging bat (next to the plimsoll) I like the sound when it smacks against my bottom but personally think its bark is worse than its bite. I added the school plimsoll and the lexan cane but they're hardly used.

From the wood collection my least favourite is the Loopy Johnny and Bogey's paddle (one with the holes in) they certainly get my attention. The paddle is one of P's favourites because it's fast and well suited to OTK as it doesn't need much room to swing but still produces excellent results (from his perspective). When he has space and time, and circumstances are appropriate, he likes to use the cane. To be honest I thought we had more canes. Well there is another one at the office:)

And my naughty towel from Cane-Iac which I've used a few times. I'll repost one of my stories when I used it.

Have a good week.

I got a dusting

I was reading comments the other day on our friend Season and Michael's blog about John, of Leatherthorn Paddles, and his superb customer service. I've never had direct dealings with John, although I have certainly had dealings with one of his products, but P had dealings with him at the time the product was acquired and agreed when I mentioned it that John was really helpful. Then he asked me if I knew where the product was, by the way, because he hadn't seen or more to the point used it in quite a while, he wondered if it would be gathering dust. He said that would be a pity and maybe he should dig it out for a 'dusting'.

I helpfully told him I keep dust bags in stock for storing handbags/ purses, they're a good size too with a neat drawstring top, maybe I could sell him one to keep the paddle in. Well it is leather. Good supple leather too! P laughed, I think he liked the idea of his wife trying to sell him a storage bag, he didn't pay me for one though, just said he'd rather let it get dusty and then spank me with it. I got a little shiver at the thought then the phone went and the subject was forgotten.

Or so I thought. Later at home and after dinner, P said he'd like me to come upstairs after I'd cleared away, he wanted my opinion on some gifts he'd bought for Christmas before he started wrapping them. I was absolutely un-prepared when I went into the bedroom and P was sat on the bed with John's Rose Paddle (the large size) in his hand. I still had my 'best mom in the world' apron on, P told me he'd found the paddle easy enough it was right under the bed, and there was dust on it and if there was dust on the paddle there must be dust under the bed and on any other items tucked under there. And dust was my department. And yeah you guessed it, I was messing up.

OK this was play and I knew it was, but I objected and started to make excuses, I mean a woman's pride and all that, but I still got pulled across his knee, jeans and pants taken down and paddled until I was kicking giggling wiggling and shouting in equal measure and on it went until P regarded the paddle to have been been adequately 'dusted'. My backside was toasty and P said a nice shade of crimson, then he told me to go and finish off in the kitchen, leave my jeans and pants in the bedroom, come back when I'd finished. He said I looked cute with a red backside and my apron on and he had a little something for me. God, dusting had never been such fun.

Fifteen minutes later I was getting his little something and it wasn't that little, in fact it felt really rather large as it pounded into me from the rear. P told me as we lay on the bed later that he hoped I'd learned my lesson. I certainly had. I was going to give him a couple of dust bags to keep his implements in, free of charge, but I'd changed my mind now. It was better to let them gather some dust.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

I'll be in charge of leather

Looks increasingly likely we're going to start a second business, been chewing it over since before Christmas and I've mentioned it a few times. We've finally got what we think is a balanced range from various countries, hopefully attractive to retail buyers. No doubt we'll learn after we've bought loads of stock that we should have done it differently but we have to start somewhere, so orders will be going in soon and we should be running in about 3 months, it'll take that long because of stock availability, shipping, customs and just getting the online store organised, its all quite a lot of extra work but I've really enjoyed the research as the products are fashion, women's wear and there's lots of leather which I love. I asked P if we could add a 'specialist leather' section, he knew what I meant but just smiled.

Its not exactly out with the old in with the new. The old will run concurrently but P will stay with that and I'll do more of the new, in charge in fact, ooh responsibility. I'm not sad, I'll still see old clients and definitely stay in touch with our overseas partners who have become friends, but there are fresh challenges ahead.

Anyway we have to go to Finland soon, I think it will probably  be the last trip I make officially for our current business, we have some graduates from a catering college to interview and a presentation to make, not too taxing, we'll be there three days, I love Helsinki, P always says the beer's too expensive. I'm hoping the new venture will offer a few travel opportunities, about 40% of our stuff so far will come from the EU and the rest from China, Puerto Rico and Bangladesh so travel opportunities. Well you have to check the goods!

Talking of travel, I was emailed a couple of days ago by a Singaporean Travel Co, asking me if I'd be prepared to take advertising from them on my blog, now someone there may be reading this and I'm very happy if they are, but I had to reply no. Because I'm not a travel blog even though I ramble on sometimes, maybe I should become travel blogger with a penchant for spanking instead of a spanking blogger with penchant for travel. Or maybe I'll just stay as I am.
