London

I'm off to our Capital city tomorrow to meet four wonderful spanko friends.

This is very special visit as one of our friends is making the trip from across the pond.

I don't know what we'll plan but whatever.....

It'll be a blast.

Catch you later.

Friends

I met with Jan, Rosie, Ami and our friend from across the pond, Minelle, in London last Thursday and what a time we had. The poor waitress kept coming over to see if we were ready to order lunch but because of all the talking, laughing and gift exchanging we kept having to say no, sorry not ready yet. She was lovely and patient with us.  The time just flew by and before we knew it, it was time to head home.

I was given lovely gifts (thank you) This is one of them.

Isn't it lovely. Minelle is one talented lady.

I think you can guess what I gave them.....

You guessed it -  a small OTK cane.

I hope they have fun having it used and find out that not all canes are evil:)

They are all terrific ladies. Smart, intelligent, caring, friendly, funny, really very very nice. Thank you ladies. I hope it won't be too long before we get together again.

Have a good week everyone.

Love,

I didn't get spanked in the Premier Inn

We were in London last week. P wanted to attend a presentation at the Tower Bridge Novotel by one of his investment company CEO's. He attended but the company he was there to hear had pulled out of the show, my husband should keep his ear closer to the ground, they had actually flagged up two days earlier that they couldn't attend but he'd missed it.

Anyway three other companies presented and he stayed and listened to them, he liked one of them but was pissed that his main reason for being there had disappeared. He didn't stay for the nibbles afterwards, instead he joined me and we had supper in a trattoria, which was very nice. We stayed over in a Premier Inn because P trusts the beds there (and wouldn't pay Novotel prices) and all in all it was a pleasant little distraction and I did some unnecessary shopping and got handed some discount vouchers to a Zombie secret cinema experience which I passed on to our son later in the week. I didn't get spanked in the Premier Inn which was a bit of a let-down because I like getting spanked in hotels but c'est la vie.

Next day on the train back, P was moaning about the waste of time and money, I goaded him a bit about not keeping up to speed and said it wasn't a waste of money at all, I'd enjoyed it even if he hadn't. He said he had, it was just that he didn't like inefficiencies and he didn't like last minute ill-explained changes to arrangements. Then he went quiet and was transfixed on his ipad, then he said 'bastard'. I asked him what was up and he said an announcement had been made by the company who'd pulled out, he said they were selling off their crown jewels out of the blue, no previous indication of it, and they were selling them too cheap in his opinion. He said it was a stitch up and found several expletives to express his disgust. I told him to keep his voice down, not everyone wanted to know about it or hear his colourful language.

My husband was still ranting a bit on Friday. I asked him if he hadn't been in London, would he have known about what they were going to do any sooner and would he have made any different decision as regards his holding in the company, he thought about it for a few seconds then said no he couldn't have known any sooner but he would probably have been suspicious if he'd seen the cancellation notice and might have called them to ask why. I then asked him if he thought they would have told him any different from their official notification, he said he supposed not. I said 'well there you are, no problem, just one of those things, get over it'.

On Saturday morning he spanked me. He didn't go into the office because, he said, it was a holiday weekend and he didn't have much to do and what he did need to do could be done from home. When I came out of the shower he called me into our little office and told me he hadn't been too happy about my light hearted flippancy about him being 'stitched up' as he continued to call it. He didn't think I took things seriously enough, he said, so he was going to put me over his knee and give me a damned good spanking and perhaps I'd show a bit more empathy in future. I told him he couldn't because I didn't have any knickers on under my robe and I hadn't dried my hair or even had a cup of tea yet. Needless to say it made no difference and he got up from the desk seat, sat mid futon and pulled me across his thighs. I was still telling him he couldn't as the back of my robe was lifted to my waist and his hand started raining down repeatedly on my buttocks. Spankings HURT far more when you're fresh out of the shower and I was struggling immediately, he told me to keep still and I deserved it and if I didn't stop struggling he'd take the cane to me and that made me wet in an instant and I struggled harder, not to get the cane across my bottom but to get into a position where I could grind against my husband's muscly thigh while he spanked me.

He lectured me about business not being as simple as I'd made out but I told him I thought it had been perfectly fucking (for good measure) simple and that he should listen to me more often and he wouldn't be getting any fucking (for more good measure) empathy from me, only the truth. So I got spanked harder of course and yes it hurt of course and, as I wriggled as lewdly as possible over my husband's lap, my left hip kept bumping against his cock which was rigid in his shorts. I wanted him to thrash all the wriggle out of me then order me down onto my knees and make me take it in my mouth. He didn't though, instead he stopped spanking and told me he hoped I'd learned my lesson and then he put his hand between my legs. He said who's a naughty girl then and I told him I was a naughty fucking girl and what was he going to do about it. I heard him exaggerate a slurping noise as he put his hand to his mouth, then he got me up off his lap and bent me over the desk, my robe had slipped back over my backside and he had to pull it up again before he could enter me which he did, hard, and I only lasted a few seconds before screaming. P was a few seconds behind me but I think my orgasm was still running when his warm load spurted into me and I peaked again. Christ it was urgent and hot and we both lay panting, his cock still filling as spunk trickled down my thighs.

My husband was forgiven, mentally, for not spanking me at the Premier. He'd made up for it and then some.

Have a good week.

The Girl's Business Cards

You may remember me finding and buying this book

and sharing some of the business cards the working girls used to put in London red telephone boxes advertising their different services. Well I found more on my travels. Hope you enjoy them.

For my new readers - These are called Tart cards and were often printed cards (though some of the early ones were handwritten/drawn

and were placed in London telephone boxes by the girls advertising all their different type of services during the 1980's when a loophole in the law meant they were not, strictly speaking, illegal.

The practice of placing cards was known as carding. It was a particularly English phenomenon specific to London and seaside resort around Brighton and Hove (though they did appear in other towns) For the printers who were prepared to take the risk they represented a very regular and lucrative business.

Sex sells but ironically sex was the one word that was not used on the cards. Hand written, euphemism, double entendres, catch phrases, plain text, rhymes and a specialised vocabulary.

There was a lot of competition so their business cards had to stand out from all the others.

You can view more of the cards from the book here and here.

Have a fun weekend.

It's Official...

...this little devil sent from Bogey/Bacall is P's favourite weapon of ass destruction.

It's official.....

.....it's not my favourite, no way and I can tell you that size doesn't count at all; it's the way it's made, what it's made of and how it's used that counts and on all three criteria my bottom can testify to its effectiveness.

as P used it yesterday. What for I hear you ask. As a reminder to make sure I behave myself over the weekend as were off the the big city (London) until Sunday.

Thanks in advance for your comments (hope I get some now:)) will answer next week.

Have a fun weekend.

Another peek into my 'Tart Cards' book

London, more money was spent (probably still is) on sex than going to the cinema and the ladies (and gentlemen) in the trade had to sell it as best they could. There was a lot of competition so their business cards had to stand out from all the others.

Many had amusing printed phrases

Although they were a modern phenomenon in Victorian London prostitutes used to distributed their 'business card's to theatres and musical halls, the cards were placed in sealed envelopes that had printed on them delicately suggestive rhymes.

Of course not everyone appreciated these cards, some found them intimidating and offensive, others amusing but for the girls and their customers they were a commercial necessity and in 2001 it became a criminal office to put these type of tart cards in telephone boxes and if caught could have faced a six-month jail sentence or a £5,000 fine.

The girls often would find expressions in brief lines of poetry and rhyming couplets. I'll pick some of those for another time.

Hope you have a good weekend.

Working Girls - Tart Cards II

Lets take another peep inside the book about the London Working Girls "Tart Cards"

Sex sells! But ironically sex is the one word that the tart cards never used. Euphemism, double entendres, catch phrases, rhymes and a specialised vocabulary are all drawn on to retail that most basic human instinct

Some of the girls had to improvise and hand write their cards. These were often small, cheap and cheerful, straight to the point and very attractive to some men.

Later many of the girls increased the size of their cards added pictures and colour. They had to make them captivating and memorable in order to catch a clients attention which was particularly important when other girls were offering the same product.

Cruel Dominatrix Ladies
(Click picture to enlarge)

Second only to corporal punishment. A true dominatrix dressed in the latest latex with 4" stiletto boots and wielding a whip is not a prostitute and woe betide any of the clients who thinks otherwise.

More soon.

Have a great weekend.

No trouble this time

Went to the trade fashion show Pure at London's Olympia on Sunday. Dragged P along as he has a very good eye for style and keeps me in line regarding over spending, I think he enjoys it too even though he pretends it's a bit of a chore, its about the only time he wears a pair of jeans with designer frays (he bought them off the shelf at a Polo sale in Chester and was livid when we got home and he found the frays, I assured him they were fine but he still won't wear them locally), I think he feels a bit trendy even though he wears his shirt loose to hide the frays.

Anyway the show was the same one I got into trouble at last year, remember the commotion over Miss Slut Pants? I knew they weren't exhibiting this year because I checked the catalogue so no problem me getting into trouble again. I did tease P before we went, saying I hoped he's not thinking of visiting their stand so he can flirt with the Spanish girl again. Didn't over do though it as I got that look :)

We had a good day, ordered some new handbag styles. I have to say, considering we're in recession, the place was very busy, even more new exhibitors than last year and more expensive too. I wonder when the 'cure' for the recession and all our financial excesses over recent years will hit people's pockets and slump sales, it has to happen.

So no spanking for me yesterday but when I came into the office this morning my little package had arrived, our receptionist gave it to me on the way in. It's a new implement I spotted on ebay and couldn't resist it, it was in auction and I got it for a very good price.

I'll take a photo and post later in the week, promise.

The girls at the show weren't dressed like the ones in the picture.

Working Girls II

P was telling me the other day that one of our clients has just acquired one of those old British red telephone boxes to put in his new restaurant, I don't know if he's going to put a phone it or if it's just decor. Not sure where he got it but there aren't many around in public use these days, I reckon they'll become collectors items if not already.

It reminded me of an old post on working girls advertising their varied services in the telephone boxes in London, they used to stick their business cards in the booths.

Here's another selection of their 'business cards'

Wonder where they advertise now.

Come to London Get Spanked

Peter Jones is a solicitor in his fifties, he lives in London and he spanks and canes women, mostly professionals, mostly over 30, by arrangement, at his office or a place of their choosing. I first read about his exploits in Scarlet Magazine but lost the copy and can't find it online anymore, so I was pleased to find another article on The Metro by Lisa Scott which tells of his exploits and gives a link to his website he even has a profile ad on London Transport red bus. He's also written a book 'The True Confessions of a London Spank Daddy' published by Excite Books.

He meets various women, some of whom have partners who do spank them - but never hard enough, and they all have guilt feelings or stresses which need release. They ask him to help them quit smoking, stop spending on their credit cards, lose weight etc, all splendid reasons for getting spanked if they fail.
He doesn’t charge a fee, and there is no payment in kind.

I was thinking if many of his clients are professionals, and if it releases stress, would it class as a therapy. Maybe even the trip would be tax deductible. Well a trip to your lawyer would be, wouldn't it?

Good luck to Peter, perhaps with all the extra publicity from his book and the various media coverage he'll give up stuffy old law and concentrate on building his other business, it sounds like much more fun.
