Fitness conversations only

And then only in a positive way, no 'crap' about cholesterol or aches and pains or can't do this, can't do that. It's my husband's latest directive. To me of course. He told me I seemed to know more about systolic and ischemics and good and bad cholesterol and goodness knows what else than our GP did, he joked that it was a relief to go to the doctors to get away from medical talk. Our conversations these days, he said, hardly happen without some reference to health matters which included things that are bad for you or even might be bad for you just for good measure. He wanted to hear more about things that are good for you, more about exercise, climbing mountains, swimming, and nice food and drink not rabbit food and green slushy drinks.

I started to remonstrate but he cut me short, he said he knew I was thinking of both our interests but he said I paid too much attention to that side of things and that he wasn't unaware of any of the things I said from time to time and that he was making appropriate adjustments to his living habits and keeping an eye on mine too so there was no need to go on about stuff. I suppose there is truth in what he said, I'm more of a worrier than him and, as he pointed out, you can get so wound up with all the health advice that's around it can have a detrimental effect in itself. So I've got to lighten up, he says, see the half full glass not the half empty glass.

You'd think I was obsessed with health issues from reading the above but I'm not, well I don't think I am, and those who know me wouldn't say so. Perhaps it's just when I'm with P, well after all he is my nearest and dearest so it's only natural I care about him. Anyway I've had my orders and he said he expects to notice a difference or he'll spank me (haha as if that's going to persuade me) but the thing that got my attention most of all was when he said it was what you expected to hear old people talking about. Yep that got me and he'll definitely be noticing a difference in my conversations from now on.

Later in the day I nuzzled up to him and asked what about if I mention health matters in emails or whatsapps, would that still get me spanked? He smiled and said why don't you try it. I haven't yet.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by Hurricane Irma.

A Nice Rump

We were out last night, eating the best steak in town. Again. We used the 40% off food voucher we got last week. Steak's good for you right? No? Ah cholesterol, right, okay so the weather's getting nicer and I'll be resuming my jogging if my knee allows it and that'll burn off the cholesterol. What's that you say, cholesterol doesn't burn off? Hmm, okay so I'll stop having cholesterol tests.

This was general banter between myself and P, who was in a particularly good mood because he's come up with a plan to hold some interviews in China, for a specialist niche, he wanted to get around 10 candidates on board and was going to take a client friend with him, but the plan has grown, our Chinese counterparts liked the idea a lot so P said why not expand it to 20 or more over a couple of days and invite some UK employers to attend, so it looks like it'll be on for late May. Good thing is, I'm in the frame too now, as long as I can cover my own work so we'll see how it goes.

Why the cholesterol banter? I did have a test a few weeks back coupled with a blood test, routine, and the cholesterol was 5.7 which the nurse said was high, I've since googled it and found it's just a bit over average so not alarming at all (why didn't the nurse tell me that). P tells me I need to reduce red meat, dairy produce, wine (wine?), biscuits, in fact any time he feels like I need to show restraint he mentions cholesterol even if it's not relevant. I'm not actually a big meat eater at all and I don't order a big steak, just a sooooo nice small one, rump of course. P loves a nice rump :)

Chat turned to China, I reminded him of the last time we went and overheard a spanking in the hotel, I also remembered the call girl who made a move on him when he was at the hotel bar, yep he definitely needs me along. ''Who else are you going to spank after a stressful day's interviewing?'' I joked. ''Good point,'' he agreed. Well that was easy, or am I reading too much into a fun comment. I'll work on it, I can be quite wily and persistent when I want something, which brings me on to wanting, no make that needing, a damn good spanking. I needed it last night but there was no chance and I need it even more this morning, in fact I'm going to try and tell him about it because our son's got a friend over for the weekend and I can't see any natural opportunities occurring.

We've currently got no issues between us so I can't envisage a punishment spanking (pity) so what's a girl to do, go without or try asking for it? I could try for a gg at the office but I know they bore P a bit so I reckon asking for it by playing my face is the best course of action, I'll do it just right enough to get what I need but not over the top enough to get me punished. Nobody'll get really mad, he'll be pleased to have corrected me, I'll get a sore backside but not ouchy can't sit down soreness, then he can make me give him a bj at the office. All worked out for the day ahead then, failing that looks like I'll be working in the morning. By which time my need will have increased.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Spanking can also damage your health

Yes, Smoking spanking really can. Wednesday morning P called me into the bedroom before he set off for work, he was sitting on the corner of the bed and told me that as we will now have the house to ourselves (son started work) he has decided that my maintenance spankings will resume (maintenance used to be on Sundays but with son at home we had to suspend them) and he thinks mid week on Wednesday would be the correct day, no idea why he chose mid week, why not Friday (TGIF), anyway it was a nice initiative which I didn't argue with.

So there I was over his lap having my bottom spanked with P lecturing me, he manages to find things to lecture about even when I've done nothing wrong. Now P always uses his hand for maintenance and boy does he know how to spank with it. It was hitting the right spot too often and I was wiggling and squirming so he put his right leg over my two legs to clamp them tight and upped the tempo somewhat.

''Now up you get,'' he said, ''and let me get off to work.'' Then when he went to get up I saw him stop in his tracks, touch his back, stand still, then slowly continue until he was upright. He shook his shoulders, twisted his hips a bit as if to make sure they were still working, which they were, and he was away. I thought no more about it, we went out in the evening, cinema (Sherlock Holmes - definitely a watch) followed by a couple of steaks in town, very nice evening, no sign of any problems. Then yesterday morning P got up very stiff, not that kind of stiff but twinges in his right hip area, he didn't like them, he's had back problems ever since he was a chef ages ago, too much standing over low work benches for a tall guy. He's called for a physio appointment to be on the safe side, he hasn't seized up but he doesn't like the signals. Weird how back problems don't kick in at the time but catch you by surprise a day or so later.

So I've told him no more leg clamping in awkward positions, do it from a stable position by all means, or use belts or something to restrain me with. I mean I don't want to be the cause of injury, indirect or not, and I can't imagine he's too happy taking time out to get physiotherapy, ''So how did it happen?'' ....''Well I was giving the wife a good spanking and when I had to clamp her down to stop her struggling I think I twisted something..'' I think the physio might either run a mile or fall about laughing.

Anyway the bottom :)) line is - be careful out there, spanking can damage your health in ways you don't expect.
