Mothers day weekend

Phew! weekend over and I didn't get spanked although I earned one on account, didn't have to endure Mothers Day lunch out (we gave up doing that years ago, when you've run restaurants yourself you know when not to go), got a lovely and unexpected grand floral gift from son (picture doesn't do it justice), accompanied P to his mom's Sunday afternoon and ended up staying into the evening, fixed a couple of household appliances, sorted her music system out and P argued with her about who'd be best for the country at our upcoming general election.

The time passed fine actually, it wasn't so bad considering we'd also been round there the previous evening, yes Saturday night, in fact that was when I got my yellow card for making a face and kicking P under the table as the time passed 11pm and I knew we'd be back the following day. He took the hint but told me in the car there'd been no need for me to 'play my face' as he put it and he would have given me a spanking if circumstances had permitted. ''Yeah yeah,'' I said, ''why don't you hold it over then. ''I might just do that,'' he said as his seat belt beeper distracted him and he wrestled to put it on before we pulled out onto the main road. Nothing more was said so we'll see.

Tonight we're actually going for a steak, as hinted at before the weekend, nothing to celebrate, just the little whim I had about Steak & BJ seemed to appeal to him, I'm not saying the BJ will happen you never know though but the steak's a cert, just the two of us. I'm looking forward to
it.

Hope you all have a good week.

I'm glad your son thought of you - the flower is beautiful. I hope tonight works out just right. You survived your MIL, what else can you hope for.

Hugs,
PK

Yes, as PK said, you have a thoughtful son. Must have made you feel good. Kind of a gift to yourself because you obviously raised him well.

And sounds like you survived the visit with your MIL even if you wind up with spanking.

And can't wait to hear if the BJ goes with the steak. I still the car would be a perfect way to spice things up.

The flowers look lovely! I am glad the day went well. A kick under the table sounds familiar...communication is so important in marriage! ;) But then, some husbands communciate right back!

Dear Ronnie,

That is a passion flower and the most gorgeous and exotic of them available in our parts! You are a good mom to deserve such a plant! And a very good wife not to have kicked him at 9 pm - REALLY?! Sorry P but Sat nights... well just think of the Elton John song.. There's absolutely nothing there about moms! I am guessing like all of our men, he wants nothing to do with gentle guidance. Personally I'd need the bullhorn "MOVE AWAY from the mother ship and no one will get hurt! Repeat... Move.... " just sayin!

Happy Belated Mohter's Day Ronnie have a wonderful night!

PK - He's one in a million PK, couldn't wish for a better son. Thanks.

FD - Thank you for your lovely comment. Did I really say a BJ in the car, seems I did.
I've just been told I'll see her again in the week, I think I'll definitely need a spanking :)

Sara - They are lovely. Were both very good at communication but I much prefer his :)

KayLynn - The not so welcome spankings happen when mother matters surface so I have to be on my very best behaviour.
Thank you so much, I was hoping somebody would tell me what the flower was called as it was no use asking son.

Mouse - I do love the flower, thank you.

Thanks all, stay tuned.

Love,
Ronnie

Saturday night AND Sunday! That was above and beyond the call of duty. You should not be spanked for trying to call it a night at eleven pm.

Gorgeous flowers. I thought it was an orchid plant.

Hugs,
Hermione

Hermione - Thank you. I'm glad somebody else thinks so.

I'm not too good at recognising flowers but I did wonder if it was an orchid plant. It's not in a pot and not sure how it's fixed together. I don't really want to take it apart so not sure if I can plant it or what.

Thanks Hermione.
