Bratz

Last week we were in Birmingham doing some late night shopping, a beer and ridiculously long sausage from the German market rounded it off. On the way back to the car P stopped and took out his phone, I hadn't heard it ring so he must have remembered a call he needed to make, I continued walking but slowly. A minute later my own phone went and this image appeared on it, from my nearest and dearest who was up by my side at that point.

What's this for? I asked.

I just thought it was funny, said he.

Why?

Well read it, he said. They've got it quite wrong, at least if I had anything to do wit it. BRATZ get what they get......and it's rarely what they want. He did say it with a smile.

Christmas Cards

Halls are decked, tree up and all cards posted last week.

Cards have been dropping though the letter box quite early this year and yesterday afternoon I trudged good naturedly through the snow to hand deliver greetings cards to each of our nearish neighbours.

Is it me or are more cards showing pictures of bottoms this year?

Wish me luck, I'm off into Birmingham today to finish my Christmas shopping (famous last words what's the betting I'll be scrambling for some forgotten item on Friday).
