La Fessee and Doctor at Large do have actual spanking scenes.
In Cross my Heart, Betty Hutton does end up OTK but the spanking is aborted.

Seeing them made me remember Gone with the Wind - there was a spanking scene in that one wasn't there??
The only one I've seen is Doctor at Large and the spanking is almost exactly as depicted on the poster.
I have seen Doctor at Large and I think the actress who was spanked was the elegant and sophisticated Muriel Pavlow. If I’m right the spanking did her good because she lived to be 97!
