Women behaving badly

"Drooling over male bodies is apparently fair play — no wonder men are confused." So said Camilla Long, a journalist I rarely read in the Sunday Times and wouldn't have except that my husband drew my attention to it.

"What really gets your gears going? It is a question a million sex-obsessed women seem to be thrashing out in public every day. Who’s got the hottest smile, the fittest abs? Who gives the most to charity; who’s got the waistcoat you most want to rip off with your teeth? Scan any part of the internet and it is the same: a frothing sea of volcanic female fantasies about footballers, tennis players, even, in extremis, politicians. It is oestrogen city.

“I’m so old that I’ve now fancied two generations of Schmeichels,” moaned one woman during the Denmark match on Wednesday. “There are two?” yelled another. “I’ve just left a little puddle of drool.”

"Is that why you've been watching the football so assiduously," P joked (I think), "fantasising about who's got the best six-pack or whatever.....and leaving little puddles of drool?"

I laughed but I read the article. Journalists do go on a bit, justifying their existence I suppose, but at the end of it she concluded that the truth was that women were just as bad as men when it came down to that sort of thing, and probably always have been but with the rise of more women into positions of power, (levelling up I suppose our idiot of a PM would call it), they are not shy to express themselves any more and journalists like Camilla happy to fill column space with her observations.

What do you think, are we as basic as men, have us girls pretended to hold the moral high ground but now the truth is emerging? I think there's probably some truth in it but I told my husband later I definitely hadn't been following the football in the hope of glimpsing six-packs or fantasising about what may lie beneath their kit and I definitely hadn't been drooling. He said that was good then as he'd have had to spank me if I had been.

Shit! Opportunity missed.

Stay safe. Have a good week.

Oh Ronnie,

Commiserations on the missed opportunity, not like you. Commiserations too on the loss. I definitely think women are as bad as men and that if it's not ok for men it shouldn't be ok for women.

Hugs
Roz

LOL at missed opportunity. I definitely think women can be as bad as, if not worse than, men when it comes to admiring the human form!

And I'm pretty certain we have twice the fun, as I don't know many women who would deny appreciating the female body as well as the male.

Have a good week.

Could just be that I am slow, but Bacall can "process" another person's physical attributes much faster than I can. Live or image she processes much faster than I do and takes in details that I do not see. I have wondered if this is why men are seen as drooling over women - we just process slower.

It's not like you to miss an opportunity!!! Off your game? LOL
As for women oogling men - I honestly don't..BUT I can and do admire the female form.
Ohhhh wait I fibbed what I do look at and drool over are male hands!! Love them big and strong - I am lucky with Sir Stsve - his hands are enormous!

This double standard, now becoming more and more open, is part of why there is a politically conservative pendulum swing among particularly younger men.

I like a nice chest and abs, maybe a cute butt - but I don't go crazy over them. Like Morningstar I would rather view a female form. I think that's sexier. But I have a suggestion for you. Tell P you were lying and that were were watching football for the hot men you were seeing. With luck you'll not only get spanked for that but also for lying. It's worth a try.

I agree with PK but I think you should hand him the paddle as you confess and then bend over and give him a good target.

It's quite possible that women ogle men and enjoy looking at their physique. Men have unfortunately bee nstereotyped for doing so.

Roz - Thanks. Yes I agree. Shame on us losing on penalties. Maybe next year we could win the World cup. Thanks.

Fondles - I know we do have twice the fun. Thanks.

OBB - I wonder if anyone one thinks that. Thanks.

Morningstar - I must have been a sleep to miss that one:) Yes I admire the female form as well. Thanks.

kdpierre - I think you could be right there. Thanks.

PK - I'm not sure he'll believe me now, had I said it at the time, I would have got spanked. Thanks.

Anonymous - Bit late now. Thanks.

Hermione - Yes I do agree with you there. Thanks.

Love,
Ronnie

missed spankings just like missed penalties! Sad! Younger women are much more open than ever before, about expressing their opinions and feelings, and desires. Nice to read that they enjoy looking at men, and not being ashamed to admit it.
England deserved to lose, because you do not score and try to play 88 minutes of defense. They needed to attack, and never did! The Italian defense would have been tired from the Spain game of constant pressure.
