We're back

A quick post.

Had a lovely time away. So nice to have a change of scenery even though it was still masks and social distancing. We travelled across the border to Edinburgh which we were allowed to do. Very quiet as hardly any tourists around but they will come now Scotland is opening up. We even went down to the beach. Oh to be beside the ocean was great though it was very cold with fairly strong winds.

We stayed in a large caravan type accommodation near a small lake.

There were other lakes around us and everywhere you went you would see swans, geese and ducks with their recently born babies.

It was fun and a break and there is some beautiful scenery in the North but I do long for the warm Mediterranean.

Lovely to spend time with family but did have its restrictions.

Busy the next few days, so catch up with you later.

Stay safe and have a good week.

so glad you had a good holiday :) loved the pics! We're chomping at the bit to get to the country to our trailer/cottage /summer home away from home..... but we're still under a 'stay at home' order BUT it's still really cold here and rainy so that makes staying home a little easier

The pictures look fabulous! Those baby birdies!!! Glad you had a good (if brief) break.

We were hoping to get across the border here too but the last week things have begun to get shut down again as we've had new strains from India come in. And a hospital and two schools have had un-linked cases so it's all panic stations again.

Welcome home! Those are beautiful pictures. We have a pair of mallards that drop in every day to try for a swim in our pond, if we don't stop them :)

Hugs,
Hermione
