The UK is slowly going to come out of lockdown starting Monday with our
children going back to face to face teaching then, if numbers keep
falling and the vaccine rollout is still going well a phased opening of
businesses and by 21th June all social restrictions could be lifted.
Not sure I'm ready for all that yet but I know our children need to be back in school and businesses need to open especially our hospitality sector who have been badly hit. Keeping fingers crossed that everyone will be sensible when it happens.
We went for a walk in our local town last week and noticed that some of our pub/restaurant owners had put displays in their windows brightening up the dark and deserted streets.

haven't come out too well but thought I'd share them with you anyway.
See you soon. Lots of pigs in the widow. The pub is called The Pig:)
Bear orchestra. We went back with granddaughter the next day to show her this one, she loved it.
One day soon. A display of people gathering together laughing, drinking and having fun
Stay safe.
Have a fun weekend.

oh I love that they've decorated their storefronts ... we had shuttered doorways and dark windows. It was really depressing.
Here's hoping that the reopening goes well.
Hi Ronnie,
That is such wonderful news! I so hope things continue heading in the right direction to allow the lifting of restrictions. The stores look amazing, what a wonderful idea. Love the bear orchestra.
We have recently had some community cases and have been under a low level of restrictions for the past week. These are set to be lifted again Sunday morning. We are so lucky here, apart from the earthquakes! It's been a bit of a day with some large quakes off the NZ coast today.
Hugs

We've had a partial reopening here - about 2 weeks ago... and in our small town the numbers have started climbing again.. le sigh.
BUT we've heard in our area everyone should be getting our first shots by the end of June ...... got my fingers crossed.
And I agree with Fondles - great idea decorating the shop windows.. ours were shuttered and dark too ... made me sad.
Our lockdown has lifted and shops and stores are open again. We have a vaccination centre open and ready to go, for selected people only at the moment not enough vaccine for all who want it.
Hugs,
Hermione
I feel the same way - not ready to declare everything all over yet, but certainly going in the right directions. I think being out and about will feel a little strange at first. But I'll be ready to give it a try.
Happy for you that you will be coming out of lockdown soon, and maybe all social restrictions by the end of June.
Here is Canada, with a population of 39 million, we still have less than 2 million having the first vaccination. The USA is up to vaccinating 2 million people DAILY!
So sad, and so inept a government, that keeps giving money away, and celebrating when another 200,ooo vaccines arrive in a week.
bottoms up

I am happy for those of you in the UK. I wish that our vaccine roll out would speed up, it's getting frustrating

I am hoping that we all will continue moving in the right direction. Like you I am nervous things will move to fast and we will be back in the lockdown again.... or everyone will get sick.
Lovely cheerful window though!
I humbly offer you my blog with 100% real stories with my submissive girlfriend
Hi Ronnie,
yes, there does seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I had my vaccine this week as I'm over 60. The vaccination programme seems to be the one thing this government have got right, having given it to the NHS to organise! It's been very tough on those in the hospitality industry.
Best wishes,
Alice
Fondles - We have quite a few of shuttered shops and yes depressing. Seems already people aren't social distancing. Thanks.
Roz - Thanks. Keeping fingers crossed. I heard about the earthquake, frightening. I hope your restrictions were lifted yesterday.
Morningstar - As soon as restrictions are lifted it seems there is an automatic rise in cases. I'll be joining you in keeping fingers crossed for a June jab. Our Government says everyone over 16 years of age will be offered a first jab by July. Thanks.
Hermione - I hope your Government can secure higher suppy of the vaccine. Thanks.
PK - We are all going to have to live with Covid as it wont be going away and then winter we will have flu on top of it. Thanks.
Red - Thanks. I'm not so happy as I can see people already not social distancing and gathering in crowds. People are totally fed up with lockdown. I hope Canada can get the vaccine sorted quicker.
Prefectdt - The vaccine is the only thing our Government has got right. Hope your lot can move things quickly. It's the supply that the problem I've heard. Thanks.
Minelle - We've all had to put up with a lot during lockdown so I really hope people just take it steady but sadly I know some wont. Thanks.
Bruno - Thank you. I've added your blog to my list.
Alice - Hello. Happy you have had your first dose. Oh yes I completely agree that the vaccine is the one thing our Government has got right. Thanks.
Love,
Ronnie
