Quiet sex toys please

Apparently during the pandemic there has been a massive growth in sales of sex toys with particular demand for 'quiet' ones. Celebs haven't been slow to get involved. Cara Delevingne became a co-owner and creative adviser of Lora DiCarlo, whose products include a “premium robotic massager” costing £270, Dakota Johnson became an investor and creative director in high-end sex-toy brand Maude, Lily Allen collaborated with German brand Womanizer to design her own £89 stimulator and Gwyneth Paltrow well she never stops.

The article, which appears in the Times, (you wont be able to read full article) says the pandemic has particularly affected younger adults, singles who haven't been out and about able to date (read get sex) and make new friends although sales are up in all age ranges and they're not afraid to spend. Even Ann Summers has reported increased sales in the higher spend range with their quietest vibrator, the Whisper Rabbit, up by 60 per cent compared with a year ago. People wishing to be discreet while living and working in close proximity to flatmates, grown-up kids who have had to move back in with their parents during lockdown and long term couples who've had to find new ways to spark things up while living hand in glove are all thought to have contributed.

So make hay while the sun shines, because it looks like lockdowns are going to be starting to ease.

I mentioned the article to my husband and asked him if he'd felt any need to make exotic purchases during lockdown and not told me, he looked at me as if I were mad then smiled. "I suppose you could count a cane a sex toy," he said, "and it is pretty quiet....it's the recipient who makes all the noise." I felt myself blush a bit as he said it, why that still happens after all these years I don't know.

Stay safe.

Interesting Ronnie, though perhaps not so surprising. Interesting too the number of celebs getting on board, though I guess Dakota Johnson makes sense. Had to giggle at P's answer lol

I agree with P. In fact, i had to practically beg BIKSS to have a go with our cane last night so that we could get some spanking fun. He insists its too loud, still. But at the tappety tap level it's ok, with the occasional swoosh - one off strokes here and there aren't as likely to raise eyebrows, I don't think. lol.

I never thought about the sound of sex toys, but we have a whole range of different sounds our spanking toys make - enough for an orchestra!

I have read some commenting on the sex toy industry too.
You always have such interesting things to share with us.... the cane comment from P made me smile!

P comment was very clever. I wondered why my spouse still blushes when I walk in on her putting her panties or bra on? I guess I will not get that answer from you. 😉

Be safe

Since covid, it always seems like there is another person here. It's not the quiet toys that I need, it's for me to be quiet, lol. It's really tough to enjoy the spanking and the play knowing that there is someone on the other side of the wall that is my adult child. So they know what is going on but it would embarrass them to hear us.

Roz - Quite a few celebs putting their names to sex toys. surprised me a little. Thanks.

Fondles - Yes I know the tapperty tap and I quite like it. It's it a quiet to. Probable is we can't keep quiet when it's being used. Thanks.

Hermione - Some of ours are noisy, but not a noisy as me:) Thanks.

Minelle - Thanks. Just happened to spot it in the papers.

1ManView - Definitely not from me. I just have no idea why I still do it. Thanks.

Blondie - I know what you mean. Must be hard. I'm so glad we are are on our own most of the week. Hope all eases soon and you can get back to making some noises:) Thanks.

Love,
Ronnie

perfectly agree with P, and you both enjoy when he uses the cane. Lucky for you to having vaccines, we in Canada have Trudeau and almost no vaccines for the first three months they have been elsewhere, but do have a Prime Minister who takes bows for how well he is managing the pandemic. Sad beyond words

Red - Thanks. We are lucky in the UK to have the vaccine rolled out quickly. As of this morning around 20 million people have had their first dose. I hope Canada can get a move on with your vaccine programme.
