4th July
Happy 4th July to all our American friends. Sorry this Independence Day will be unlike any other for you all.

Pubs really open at 6 am? Here, alcohol cannot be served anywhere until noon. Enjoy getting out, finally! Masks are now mandatory where I live, and outside dining only.

Happy that you can go out more, but dining in or drinking in a pub seems like a really bad idea. The most irresponsible will be there. In our city of over 650,000 people, the highest number of infections are the 20 -29 age group, with 811 infections, more than 300 higher than any other age range. They are almost 25% of all infections.

Hermione - Our PM said pubs can open at 6.00am as he didn't wants pubs opening at midnight and have lots of people on the streets that early drinking. On public transport and when visiting hospitals do we have to wear masks. Up to each individual if you want to wear one in shops. Thanks.

Stayed in the whole day and then drove around for twenty minutes to see a few fire works. It is a strange world right now, that's for sure. Numbers are way up where we are so not going out where there are people anytime soon.
