New Hedge Trimmer required

My husband told me he was going to get a new hedge trimmer, he said he'd pick one up on Black Friday weekend but it hasn't happened. His current hedge trimmer is a few years old but it's good quality and only gets a few outings each year and even I can use it although I get told off if I use it on my own with nobody around, in fact I got spanked for using it 'without due care and attention to safety' on one occasion. Anyway, I mustn't digress; the reason he said he wanted a new one was that he found it heavy going and said he needed sharper teeth and more power.

Two days after he'd trimmed them he was doing some menial lightweight job in the house when he suddenly froze in apparent agony, then very slowly released from what he'd been doing and went and sat down on a hard dining chair. I recognised the symptoms without him having to say anything. Whatever it is in the lower back that 'goes' (and goodness knows how many 'experts' he's seen over the years to try and identify and cure it) had gone. Shit. I saw the look on his face. It meant several days TLC before it would readjust back to normal unless he was very lucky. Double shit it would mean no spanking for me and I needed

one. I asked him if I could do anything but I couldn't; he knows pretty well how to handle it. It's weird how heavy duty work never seems to cause a back episode at the time but it often precedes one and it's usually a stupid innocent stretch which actually triggers one.

He was browsing DIY pages on Thursday to see what was available. I noticed and commented, "maybe it's not a new hedge trimmer tool that you need but a new hedge trimmer person, remember years ago when we were so busy you used to pay a gardener to do it". He looked at me aghast and told me no way was that going to happen but he did reconsider buying a new trimmer. He also told me his back was virtually recovered and that he'd likely spank me later for even suggesting it. He put his laptop down and went upstairs, I could see he was moving fluently, it was a good sign as was his mention of spanking:)

Have a good week.

Sorry to hear of P’s back troubles. I have similar at times, but have learned ( somewhat) to do certain specific exercises when I can see the first stages of the problem. If ignored, I end up on heavy pain killers and muscle relaxants for a week. Hopefully P caught the flare-up in time.

The thought of giving you a spanking likely inspired him to a quick recovery.I hope your bottom recovers as speedily as his back Ronnie!

Poor P! Back pain can be so debilitating. I'm pleased to hear he has since recovered and is thinking about your needs once more.

Hugs,
Hermione

Ha! I am not laughing about P's back. Sorry to hear that he was suffering. I just thought of a conversation I had with Sam this weekend. I asked if we might hire someone to put up the Christmas lights along our roof line. I got the same answer you did.

I loved how Hermione referred to "your needs."

Hugs Across the Pond,
Ella

Why are men so against getting help? Glad his back has recovered and that you are soon having your needs met.

I have every sympathy with P. I’ve put my back out sneezing and, once, just minding my own business at Sainsbury’s checkout! Glad P has recovered and can pay you some attention.

So glad his back is getting better - and that he'll take you to task soon enough.

Rosie - Thanks. Back are funny thing as you say can just happen.

Poor P! I do hate back issues!
I hope the spanking happened!

Backs! ... we have that issue in our house as well ... Frank's back will go with the most minor of movements. Although the back situation isn't funny, it's kinda humourous that P is sticking with the "new tool fixes everything" solution to the hedge trimming ... men and their tools :>)) ... nj ... xx

Hi Ronnie, :) Oh no! Poor P! Poor you and your spankless bottom!!!

I am glad to read that P's back is back in action, as is his spanky hand. Those back things are rough. I think your idea of someone coming in to do the hedges is a good one! Do I get spanking points for that one? I'm giving them to you. LOL! Happy that all is well again! Many hugs,

❤️Katie xoxo
