The Recycled Meme

You know me, can't resist a meme. Spotted this one on Hermione's blog.

The phone rings. Who do you want it to be?

The garage telling me the repair isn't going to be as expensive as they thought.

When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?

Always. I hate when people dump their trolleys in parking spaces.

In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?

Depends on the company but normally a listener.

Do you take compliments well?

I do now. I always smile and say thank you. When I was younger I found it embarrassing.

Are you an active person?

Yes, on the go all the time.

If abandoned alone in the wilderness, do you survive?

Only if I had P with me.

Did you ever go to camp as a kid?

No. I was never in the girl guides.

What was your favourite game/s as a kid?

Hopscotch, French skipping, jacks and marbles with the boys.

A sexy person is pursuing you, but you know that he/she is married, would you?

Definitely a no no for me.

Are you judgemental?
I like to think I'm not.

Do you like to pursue or be pursued?

No need now but was fun being pursued when I was younger.

Use three words to describe yourself.

Need a spanking.

If you had to choose, would you rather be deaf or blind?

Deaf. I'd hate to be unable to see.

Are you continuing your education?

I believe you never stop learning.

Do you know how to shoot a gun?

No but it is on my to do list.

How often do you read books?

Not as often as I did before I started blogging. I read more in winter than summer.

Do you think more about the past, present or future?

Present and immediate future. Of course I visit the past on occasions.

What is your favourite children's book?

Enid Blyton's Secret Seven and Famous Five.

Where is your ideal house located?

A white house with a large naya right by the ocean.

Boxers, briefs, thongs, panties or grannies?

Yes, yes, no, yes no. Does that answer the question?

Last person you talked to?

Face to face or email? P face to face and a friend on email.

Have you ever taken pictures in a photo booth?

Hasn't everyone.  I've just had one taken to re-new my driving licence.

What are your keys on your key chain for?

House, car office.

Where was the furthest place you travelled today

About 16 miles.

Where is your current pain?

Knee. Over doing the exercise.

Do you like mustard?

No, can't stand the smell of it but I do eat it when P's uses it in cooking.

Do you prefer to sleep or eat?

If I didn't eat I wouldn't sleep.

Do you look like your mom or dad?

Bit of both.

How long does it take you in the shower?

Depends if I am washing my hair.

What movie do you want to see right now?

Argo.

What did you do for New Year's?

Spent New Year's in a hill top pub/restaurant in Wales.

What was the cause of your last accident?

Clumsiness. I broke a wine glass.

Fun meme Hermione. Thanks.

Have a fun weekend.

Ronnie

We competed this mime and will get around to posting it.

You Brits! This brings up puzzelments
trolleys - OK, a grocery cart, not something like a bus
French skipping - you were doing exactly what with the boys?
What the heck is a maya?

Don't make me come over there.

Minelle - Different when its in food. Thanks.

Elis - I'm ready to do another one. Thanks.

Roz - I used to sit for hours reading them. Thank you.

Joey - I love memes. Thanks for stopping by.

OBB - LOL. We call grocery carts - shopping trolleys.
French skipping - piece of elastic with ends tied. Two people stand inside the loop and stretch it fairly taut around the ankles. The third person jumps in a does hops, jumps whilst saying a rhyme. The height of the elastic is raised each time.
Marbles - Don't you have marbles in US.
Naya - is basically a sun deck used for dining.

Look forward to reading your answers.

Jan - I still have one of my Famous Five books. Thanks.

Love,
Ronnie

I think I'm going to have to do this. Love these things too.

Loved your story on FF today

I loved Secret Seven and Famous Five too.

I didn't know it was called French skipping but I remember that too. I forget what we called it.

Marbles - we called them alleys, and I think there are a lot of regional differences on what name to give them. We have them in Canada and the US.

Hermione

Leigh - I hope you do. Was quite a surprise but a nice one. Thanks.

Hermione - I thought US would have had marbles. I loved some of the colours. Don't see many girls playing skipping now. Thanks.

I think that I enjoy reading people's comments about this meme more than the meme itself! I had forgotten how much I enjoyed French skipping and playing with jacks and snobs! I still have my marbles! LOL! Great fun, Ronnie!
