Bottoms Up

Great response to my Calling all Bottoms post so thanks to all who kindly emailed. Some (quite a lot) are not for the blog, other have given permission to share and sent pictures.

I'll be posting them over the next few Wednesdays and call it Bottoms Up.

Our first is from Michael of disciplinedbehaviour

As the Bottom in our FLR there is one instrument with which I have a love-hate relationship and that is the bath-brush.

I love the tingle in my head and the butterflies in my stomach when I see my wife reach for the brush and take it from its hook in the shower enclosure.

More often than not it is used for an impromptu spanking. I might just be called into the bathroom when I least expect it, maybe in the morning, and then have my pants pulled down and be told to bend over with my hands on the sink.

A few seconds later and the spanking begins and the pain is hateful.

The long handle of the brush means that momentum at the end of the long handle builds up quickly, even with a restricted swing. Something to do with radial velocity I guess.

The round head of the brush is usually a dense wood or a laminate because it needs to be water resistant. My wife usually makes sure that the head lands on the same spot on each cheek and the soreness is intense.

When she applies it to the back on legs I am jumping after only a few strokes. A bath-brush spanking usually consists of at least twenty smacks to each cheek and it has been known for her to go on to fifty but by that time I am most certainly begging in my head for her to stop. I am not allowed voice any complaint since I am the one who is the submissive.

A middle of the road hateful instrument is this length of black tubing, shown here against a paddle so that you can judge the length.

It is the stiff black ½” tubing used in garden irrigation systems. We have taken this on holiday once or twice as it would not arouse suspicion in a security check at the airport. When used as a stick on the bottom or, even worse, on the front of my legs, it delivers a very good punishment but also an overall glow, so it is pain and pleasure at the same time.

Thank you Michael.  Love/hate relationship with the bath brush -  I just hate it:)

Don't forget, if any bottoms, male or female who would like to do a review of their LEAST favourite implement (you don't have to have a blog) and why, please email me ronniesoul@gmail.com. I'll keep it secret if it's just for me but if it's OK for me to post it please say so. Pictures are always good.

See you next week for another Bottoms Up.

Ugh, this made my tummy flip just on reading.Hairbrush is punishment only in this house.Hate it with a capital H.

We used to have ours hung up in the bathroom too, but Peter agreed to store it elsewhere as it tended to spoil my enjoyment of a long soak in the bath...it kind of *winkend* at me from the other side of the room

This made me squirm too. Great review! Fortunately, I haven't had the pleasure of being on the business end of a bath brush and am glad of it from everything I've heard!

Thank you Michael,

Ronnie, this is going to be another great series! thank you.

Hugs,
Roz

Michael you did a great job describing how that brush feels and what you feel while getting it. Also good pictures, thanks for posting and thanks to Ronnie for her idea of the post.

Michael,

I would list the bath brush as an implement on my hate list as well.

Thank you for a well written description.

Cheers,

I agree that the bath brush is particularly painful and that hose does look wicked!

I don't mind the bath brush. Honestly...Yes it hurts, but it is the only thing that seems to get through my thick skull. I can't tune it out. Other implements I find I can zone out with. Well actually eventually I can with this too, but if he reawakens with his hand again, and returns with the brush, I am back in...LOL

He uses this for R/A . The next day I definitely feel it!
