Wrong, wrong, wrong

I like to look at least half decent when I go out somewhere, anywhere even to the shops, and that goes for around the house too although that isn't always possible depending what I'm doing. Anyway my husband told me he liked me in leggings (you may remember me writing about it) Well that's the short of it, there was a lot more subtlety around what he was saying but my stupid brain ignored the small print and after a couple of weeks (during which I got a few leggings-clad swats) I ordered a pair of classy leggings online. Mistake.

I tried them on briefly and turned this way and that in the mirror and thought they were great, might even risk wearing them out in a public place I thought, although that was not the main, corrupt, reason for buying them. I put them in my wardrobe and waited for the right time to surprise P with them. Bound to get me more than a few pats, was at the back of my mind.

Wrong, wrong wrong. I came downstairs in them late one afternoon when I knew he'd be around and was in an affable mood. They were a different colour to my other pair so that he'd notice a difference. He didn't, so I lifted my t-shirt in front of him and did a twirl and asked him what he thought. He just stared at first then said they looked decent, very nice. But he didn't look lustful or say anything suggestive. 'They were very expensive,' I lied, hoping to elicit some reaction but it didn't work he just said, yes well you have to pay for quality, or words to that effect and then carried on with what he'd been doing.

I went back upstairs and changed into a pair of shorts then came back down. He noticed and asked if I was going outside again, I'd been in shorts earlier in the day pressure washing some paving. I told him no, I'd finished outside, then he asked me why the change. I told him I'd decided to send the leggings back as he didn't seem to like them. Not true, he said, they were fine and I could wear them with confidence. But that wasn't what I'd really wanted to hear, I'd have liked sexy, provocative, wanton, extravagant etc.

Later in the evening we went out for a meal at a local restaurant (outside seating), I had jeans on. We were chatting and he said said he was surprised I hadn't put my new trousers on. 'Trousers' he called them! I told him the truth that I was somewhat disappointed with his reaction to them earlier. He thought briefly then put his hand on my knee and said they were great and I really should wear them but they weren't the type of leggings that would get me spanked. He preferred the thinner tighter sluttier cheaper ones which I'd previously bought.

"So you do like me in the new ones but you don't want to spank me in them,' I said.

'Correct,' he said and squeezed my knee, 'unless you'd been naughty of course. But the other ones I could spank you any time just looking at them.'

'Well why haven't you then?' I asked, to the point. He smiled.

'Put them on tomorrow,' he said, 'and then tell me how much you paid for the new ones.'

I felt a warm glow and we talked about other stuff. But the penny dropped...my idea of what looks good is different from my man's, depending on the circumstances of course. Horses for courses.

Stay safe. Have a fun weekend.
