The Headmaster

No he wasn't.

Tuesday's post (see below)) I thought he was a Headmaster, but I was wrong, he was a seller of canes. Anon (thank you) has given us his name and a link to where the photo was found. It was taken for the Australian Post, 17th November 1955.

E. A Wildman was 26 years old and was supplying 10,000 schools all over the world with canes and was a campaigner for corporal punishment in the UK.

 I hadn't heard of him.

The Headmaster

Did you have a lovely Easter? Hope you didn't eat too much chocolate.

A reader sent me this picture but can't remember where she found it from.  I would love to know more about it.  From the look of him (old photo) he must have been a Headmaster. Look at all those canes and implements on the wall.
