Steam Train Trip

I'm going on a Santa steam train ride on Thursday. (Unless the Uk is on a circuit breaker/lockdown as our numbers are very high). I've got to travel an hour by car to get to it so the actual steam train ride round trip will probably be less than my total travel time but I'm looking forward to it. It's a family thing we've got a carriage to ourselves and our granddaughter is already excited about it even though her only experience of trains is Thomas the Tank Engine on TV and the little wooden train set she has in her room.

Funny isn't it with all the world's trains, and I've been on a few, and modern technology, the one I really want to be on is a noisy smelly environmentally unfriendly unheated relic from a bygone age!
