This week - Paddles.

The first is what I refer to as the "holey paddle". 

That thing smarts and not in a good way. It literally feels like being whacked with a block of wood.  It doesn't even feel good over jeans for goodness sake! Definitely should be outlawed if you ask me. I probably shouldn't complain too much though since it does not get used that often...probably because I move too much when it is applied...lol.

The second is the rubber paddle. 

You can't see it in the picture but it has treads on it. Yep just like a tire. That thing burns. I think the real reason I don't like it is the texture. It is not very nice on an already tender bottom. It is also super heavy and a few swats make a huge impact!

It doesn't take much of either of these to improve my attitude/behavior...hmmm...maybe that is why he likes them ;)

The second one is a otk paddle made of rubber. Smooth on one side and textured block pattern on the other side. I am not a fan of rubber at all so that is why it is not a favorite. Now that being said it is not the worst rubber implement I have ever felt. Some people might like it. I don't care for the texture myself. The Man has a much worse rubber paddle that use to be quite large before he decided to cut it down. It is actually thicker and packs way more of a wallop. The very first time he used it on me we very quickly discovered that it was not for me. I had a pretty extreme, negative reaction to it. But that is what experimenting with different toys is for, so you can know what you do and do not like. To make it more clear, My guy actually does not like rubber. He is a way bigger fan of leather and wood. And he doesn't use it on me any more though he may jokingly refer to it as a warning on occasion. We have a Top/bottom relationship and not in a very disciplinary sort of way. For us spanking is fun and something we both enjoy. Me getting them and him giving that is

The holey paddle does get used on occasion but I am very warmed up first. It's not ever going to be added to my favorite things but I think all relationships are about some give and take. Every spanking is not about me. Sometimes I am willing to take some swats with something only he enjoys just because it makes me happy to make him happy. And he claims he likes that one because it makes me wiggle so cutely...lol.

Trust me. Our spanking relationship is very consensual. And for those actually brave enough to be truly curious about the rubber implements I have this to say.

A.) Only with someone you really trust to listen to your feedback.

B.) Be prepared for a pretty intense burn. Start off slow and you can always build up IF you find you like it. Personally I think only people who truly love hard spankings are going to like rubber implements.
