So we've all seen commercial vehicles carrying
notices on the rear with variations on the 'how's my driving' theme,
presumably the companies know motorists are hardly likely to call the number
really, it isn't worth the trouble, well I wouldn't anyway.
But my husband had a suggestion the other day
which I liked very much and, as you'd be likely to be travelling
considerably more slowly than if if you were following a truck or van,
you'd have time to catch the number or photo of it for later, or even get a
passenger to call it right away. His suggestion was that horse riders on the
road (he specifically mentioned girls but I think that was unfair because men
are just as guilty) should be made to display a similar sign. He gets
quite irate when he's held up by riders, especially when they're travelling
abreast and chatting away as if there wasn't a queue of 20 vehicles behind
them. It did happen to be two girls who caused his little pique, he thought
they were inconsiderate and ignorant of other road users, and should be
spanked needless to say.
