"Like hell, that's no designer rip," said my husband.
He was referring to the tear down the side of the back pocket of my
jeans which happened the other day when we were helping to clear out the
spare room at our son's house. I have no idea how it happened and I had
no idea how bad it was until I felt back after P alerted me to it and
then took a snap of it on his phone.
I told him it was a designer tear
and he laughed and said what he said. Then he said I should check to see
if there were any nails or hooks sticking out anywhere I'd been because
it really was quite a gash and someone else could make the same mistake
or, worse, hurt themselves.
We didn't find any nails. I asked our DIL if she had a spare pair of
jeans to lend me and she did but they were a size too big so she lent me
some sweat pants instead, with pull cord to stop them slipping. P
pinched my bum a couple of times befioe she brought them in to me. He
said pity, if we'd been at home he would have spanked me for being
careless and then made me keep them on for the rest of the day. I said
ok, I'd take them home with me and wear them another time. He seemed to
like that idea:)
Then we got vback to work, doing the job we'd come over to do. Never
found what ripped my jeans, maybe it had happened somewhere else and I
bent or stretched or whatever and that was the last straw and they just
gave way. Anyway they were old ones so it was no big deal except that I
kind of always like old jeans, lived-in ones, the best.
Stay safe. Have a good week,
Ronnie
