We have loads of wood implements (obviously because I sell them :)) and a few leather ones. I keep toying with the idea of getting a flogger/ (have for a while) but have never done it. The ones we've had in the past have been quite small, sued material and tame. so if I was going to I'd want a longer leather one.
What about you - If you were going to buy your other half a new implement for Christmas (or maybe you already have) what would it be?

Floggers are my favourite!! Sir Steve has a HUGE leather one - with a silver handle. It's so heavy - and feels so good!! definitely my favourite.
As for what I would buy him ??? Initially I thought we don't need anything - we have at least one of each (flogger, paddle, whip, crop) BUT then I realized I HAVE bought him a new toy.... a new knife. I was browsing Amazon - and stumbled across this dragon knife. It's difficult to explain - but if you're looking at it sitting on the table - the dragon is standing up on it's haunches - if you grab the head and pull the knife comes out of the body - the head is the handle. I am anxious to see his face when he opens it - it's a combination of his 2 favourite things - knives and dragons :)
The implement that gets my attention is the hairbrush! So that’s what I would get if I was buying anything but I don’t think I am. There are quite enough things that make regular acquaintance with my bottom already!

Ron got me a flogger for Christmas on Etsy and he is getting quite good at it. I had to cut 6 inches off it as it was too long. I highly recommend it!

We have a really nice flogger and it hardly gets used....like nearly never. I think at this point we have more implements than we need and would not even consider purchasing another. But I think that's true of a lot of things when you hit a certain age. I find I just don't need more stuff.
Now booze? Well.......there's always something new to try there. LOL
I like floggers, but I think thé small size is often enough xD
I have lots of wooden paddles because I make them, but if could I would buy an ebony hairbrush.
If I had a partner and was buying her a present to whup my behind with for Christmas, it would be a good quality, thick, short, single tailed whip.
I love floggers, they are so variable and each kind has it'sown characteristics. My most severe one is made of rubber, it was a costly one and was hand made. It can be a bit brutal at times. I call it "Rubber Hell" :)

No More Implements. That's my stand! LOL we don't use ours often enough as it is. How about "more frequent use of the existing ones" as a Christmas gift this year? I could definitely handle That!
Hmmmm sounds like a good idea. I am thinking…. I wish I could figure out how to get something without my adult kids seeing the package! Very limiting.

No toys for Christmas that I know of. Actually, as we age, I have been getting rid of toys that are unused. Any sudden onset of illness and/or covid might leave unsettling things for family to deal with. I am toying with putting in the bag a note that these are used on me at my request, and you can read my blog from the past at....
All that they would say is Dad was always a bit off centre.

Not all floggers are born equal. The small ones are fine for very gentle play but ones with long 'falls' are the implement of choice. If made with real skill with a natural balance, a flogger is a joy to use for both parties. No matter how long the falls are, a quality flogger will reward time spent on practice. For me the ideal present, which is why I have about twenty of them, from soft suede to stinging rubber. My own preferred supplier is a highly skilled gentleman who lives near Northampton
