Women are twice as likely as men to express an interest in watching
rough sex, according to a survey of the nation’s viewing of Internet
pornography. This was reported in Sunday's Times (sorry you wont be able to read full article as you have to register) and reinforced by a
lengthy article by India Knight in their magazine.
Women are also twice as likely as men to have an interest in BDSM,
covering bondage, discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and
masochism, apparently 37% of women who watch porn preferring rough sex,
compared to 19% of men.
So, by my calculations, there's a shortage of men prepared to satisfy our base urges:) Just reporting the press coverage.

Ronnie, I do believe the figures you quoted from the Sunday Times. Some of my most memorable scenes from movies have to do with just that. Not a porn fan at all, though.

I have watched porn in the past. We used to order VHS video tapes, and I always chose them my the title, hoping for some spanking. I was always disappointed. Just regular sex (sigh). It didn't do a thig for me, but Ron loved them.
I don't care to watch rough sex, which isn't the same as BDSM or spanking. in my mind.

Like Hermione, we watched some VHS porn tapes (at my request), but frankly, they were boring.(although looking at the women was fun for me). Once I convinced Cindy into a spanking lifestyle, the need for porn disappeared. Reality is so much better than fantasy, with paid models and bad scripts. I get almost all of my photos on my blog from tumblr, and avoid anything of rough sex, which to me is disturbing, just as bloodied bottoms or bruising during spanking.
