Hmm… thinking back over my working life there are bosses who could have gotten away with this in a heartbeat, but a few other I would have stabbed in the heart for trying. But I loved the post.
The bread and butter of my fantasies but in realist no thank you, at least not for me, but then I don't work with my husband. ( although he did visit my office once and threaten it, but more in jest - far too public!)

I suppose in the days of pay restraint it was one way of getting a rise, of sorts, out of your boss.
Oh yes, the fabled Good Ol' Days, but I honestly believe there is more truth then not in these stories. I remember my first office job and what went on both ways would be considered unimaginable today.
