Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
I was in our local Tesco store just before Christmas and noticed this display of Fifty Shades sexy,
glamorous, erotic lingerie had been marked down by 50%.
None of their other
stuff in that section had been reduced at that time so I guess it tells its own
story about how sales are going. I've always had a view on Fifty Shades, not
that I begrudge EL the millions she's made from it, but trying to build a credible retail sales business on it? I don't think
so.
Off to the sales today to buy some knickers but not from Tesco.

It is telling that other goods weren't reduced. Seems the hype has dissipated.

May they now understand that easy tricks may have consequences, as most here already were aware.
It was just a passing fad. Wonder what the next hot book will be.

I am standing up for good old 50 Shades as without it my life would still be the same - safe but boring.
As for the underwear, definitely not Tesco's, nor Asda's either. Badly made and very itchy!

Ami - Makes me happy then. I can't really knock the book as I haven't read it. I agree with you on the quality of supermarkets underwear. I managed to find 5 pairs of cute little knickers all at silly prices:)
