Fabienne Freymadl can usually be found in
a darkened room, whipping naked men into grateful submission. “I enjoy
inflicting all kinds of nasty, cruel punishments,” she said.
But Fabienne's whipping days may be drawing to an end according to yesterday's Sunday Times report by Christopher Goodwin. It seems the German government, which legalised prostitution in 2002, now wants those working in that particular profession to register with the authorities which means, of course, that they will lose their anonymity not to mention more than likely having to pay more income tax. There are two sides to every tale and whilst supporters of the whippers etc are campaigning against the changes, the opposite camp say that the country's liberal laws on prostitution have made it "easier to open a brothel than a fish shop" and things have to change.
Well I'm not taking sides, although I do lean towards the whippers, but I found the article amusing which is why I'm sharing it. What struck me though was the number of prostitutes working in Germany, estimated to be about 250,000!, most of whom are women according to the article. How sexist is that, I mean what about if someone wants to be whipped by a man? Must be an opening there.

Interesting. I often wonder why women who like to wield a whip feel they need to dress in leather all the time? I can think of several other outfits that would be just as good. 250,000 pros huh? Does this tell us something about how women approach the subject of sex? Perhaps that's only the tip of the iceberg too.

I always wonder the same thing as Ami! I mean you never see a male whip wheeler wearing a complicated outfit like woman do. I'm not talking about sexy though!

I wonder if there a re men who get paid to deliver that service to women? Or perhaps that would be considered sexist.
Here in Canada we are trying to get prostitution laws changed, mainly for the protection of the sex trade workers, who could call police if they were in danger or being hurt or threatened.
