Shakin' That Ass

Well if you've got it why not, that's what I say. Apparently J-Lo (a.k.a. Jennifer Lopez) angered lots of viewers when she performed on 'Britain's Got Talent' last week. Ofcom (that's Britain's government appointed regulator for nasty things in the media to those of you stateside) received over 100 complaints from viewers and Simon Cowell has had to defend the star's performance, not that she isn't capable of standing up for herself.

I didn't see the programme, only read about it on the weekend and found various press reports, pictures and a few videos too, one of which is below with some pictures. Offensive? Not in my opinion, even though it's a family show and schedules early for family viewing, I can't see what the fuss is about.

I showed it to P, he yawned, not even a quip about her needing a....well, you know..

Have a good week.

There has to be reason for the Dad's to watch the show so I guess this was it.

Compared to Ice Skaters and Olympic Beach Volley Ball players, she was positively overdressed.

I don't know what the fuss is about either. Some people just need a life or the realization they can switch channels if it's too offensive to them.

Hmm, I don't know what the fuss is either.

I laughed at P's reaction. I think Rick's would be pretty much the same. He's not a J-Lo fan.

Roz

I agree with Sarah, she probably just can't compare to you. And Sunny's right too, unless you live under a rock you know the type of act she does, change the channel!

Ironically, the complaints will probably help the shows ratings on TV.

It did not seem offensive to me.

Michael - Never watched the show myself or his other one, not my type of viewing. Cheers.

Sarah - His mind was on something else. Thanks.

SG - Exactly what I say. Turn over. Some people just like to complain for no reason. Thanks.

Roz - P's not really a fan of hers though he thought she came across quite genuine on a recent interview. Thank you.

PK - I wish I had her figure:) Thanks.

Joey - Then they will complain about that:) Cheers.

Ronnie

It was a bare bum, but skaters and gymnasts reveal nearly as much. I thought it was tastefully erotic.

Personally I have not problem with her performing in that outfit, so long as they let me perform in the same outfit :)

Well, she got some attention, which was probably the whole point. I like the idea that she can't compete with you in P's eyes.

I disagree with Hermione that it was a bare bum, as it was partially covered. Certainly Ron and P would want it barer to spank their loved one... I think it was fine for a family show... just imagine what children can see on the internet... where all they have to do is click that they are over 18....

I don't see what the fuss is about - looks like she did what she set out to do, get some attention and get people talking, lol.

I don't know why people have to make such a big deal of things. It reminds me of that Superbowl incident years ago where Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake were performing and she flashed a bit of boob. Most watching, myself included, didn't even notice. But after they replayed it 10,000 times exclaiming how inappropriate it was, THEN it was seen by everyone.

I just saw this, the fuss is about that last pic, my grandson doesn't need to know what pussy lips are shape like. OK. you notice I dislike her... heheehe ...

whats the old saying 'any publicity is good publicity' and that's what it was all about I guess. Wish I looked even half as good as she does

Hermione - Quite risque. I think it was mainly her last move (last picture on post) that had most people complaining about. Thanks.

Daisy - So am I:) Thanks.

Prefectdt - LOL. Think you'd look perfect in one of those suits. Cheers.

FD - I think Simon Cowell wanted his ratings boosted which it did even though they got complaints.

Red - Her bum was pretty bare. Didn't see the show myself, only the video.

Kenzie - I wonder how the children on the show actually thought of the routine.

Lea - I agree. I onlu saw the clip after, why re-play it. Thanks.

1MV - I agree there but I don't think you could see anything. A few blokes I know don't like her. Cheers.

KG - She sure does look pretty fit. Lots of viewers for that slot. Thank you.
