I love the picture on the front of this 1950's magazine cover. Not sure if it was a magazine for men or if it was an American or British publication, anyone know?
P sometimes does this before we go out to make sure I behave myself:)
Info about Jest -
Imanview - Jest was a male pin up magazine. It was founded in 1940 in Chicago, Illinois (USA). It was published into the 1960's... I found one on Ebay for sale... (1956) $3.95... The original cost was 10 cents...
Web-Ed - Jest The Humorama line was published by Martin Goodman (Atlas, Timely, Marvel comic books). A number of spanking cartoons appeared in these digests, with an occasional few (like this one) on a cover. You can find this and other spanking cartoons from the Humorama digests in the Humor Section of Chicago Spanking Review.
Thank you both for sharing the information.

Nice pic Ronnie. I love the vintage stuff.
"Pre-emptive spanking"? Hm.
BabyMan - Thank you. Are you up early or late going to bed? :) Never know what time it is in the different States.
P likes to keep me on my toes:)
Thanks for stopping by.

I love the picture! It's so much fun to realize that even though we still have to hide TTWD from the main stream this has been a common practice for many, many years!
And yes Babyman, those 'Pre-emptive spanking' are not only fun, they can really keep you focused on the important things in life when you're out partying!
Hugs,
PK
PS. Ronnie you can tell this school thing has me up way too early too!
Ronnie - believe it or not, I actually remember those old joke magazines. Not the spanking references particularly, but the general sexist tone.
Great find!

Hermione
Ronnie, to answer your question mouse has no idea but oh does she LOVE the image!

A trip down memory lane. Such booklets were common at car repair facilities in the states - back then. I oggled the scanty clad women, read the smuty jokes and looked for the spanking references.
Once found a cartoon on the 'net that had a woman being dragged into a nudist colony, with the guy telling her that he was sick of hearing her complain about having nothing to wear. Don't know if it was from the same publication but it was definitely from the same cartoonist.

LOL, shame there are no words in the text that are spelled differently by the americans... that would have been a giveaway!!! Great find, and lucky you, Ronnie, that P does that!!! xxx
I'm pretty certain that "Jest" was an American sexually-oriented humor magazine oriented primarily toward young men. I remember similar magazines still being around in the late 1960s-early '70s, there were occasionally spanking-oriented cartoons included in them... --C.K.
PK - Thanks. I thought you were up early but it wouldn't do for the teacher to be late on her first day back :) Glad you liked the picture.
Hermione - Thank you, a lucky find. You have a good memory, I don't remember them.
Mouse - Glad you like it.
OBB - Think it must be an American publication then. Thanks
Prefectdt - LOL, like to have seen that cartoon, will have to do some Googling.
Daisychain - Your right as normally you see the price on the cover. I know I'm lucky. Cheers.
C.K. - Hello and welcome. I was thinking it was probably British so thanks for letting me know. These must be collectors items now. Hope you stop by again.
Appreciate you all stopping by, thank you.
Ronnie: Was stunned to see the 1956date on that magazine. I wonder where they sold them. Maybe in those car repair facilities. But I grew up in a staid Midwestern town where the appearance of Playboy magazine in the drugstores was a major event and didn't even know spanking magazines existed. I thought I was so weird for having these fantasies. And did you know Playboy in the '50s couldn't show bush. Considered too erotic. The women always had their legs crossed. How things have changed. But I love the way you come up with those pictures, Ronnie.

Ronnie, you seem to always have my curiosity going.

Isn't the Internet wonderfuL...
I guess this is why my wife always have me to look things up, I guess I have a knack for finding things...
I also found a pin up magazine back then called "Titter", mmm, wonder what that was about, it had these ladies with large breast on them.. lol...
Have a good one...
FD - I know playboy magazine but didn't know about them not being able to show that part of a lady, interesting. I'd never heard of Jest but you will see that 1manview know a little about it.
Imanview - I can definitely see why your wife asks you to search for her. I googled but couldn't find any real info about it, obviously didn't google enough:) so thanks for this. I will add this info to the post later.
I think I've heard of Titter magazine. Thanks again, really do appreciate it.
FD, 1manview, thanks for stopping by, have a good weekend.

Great find, and I remember these type of magazines also. The humor was secondary to the beautiful women, and possibly helped foster my love of spanking.
Red
Red - I don't remember them personally but then again I think most of these mags were for men :)
Thanks, hope your having a good week.
