Bottoms Up

My weekly review of a least favourite implement, as expressed by readers.

Fondles writes.....

...is definitely a wooden hairbrush with bamboo bristles from The Body Shop.

That's exactly the one. It was early on in our spanking journey when I came across it while shopping. I thought it would be fun to try it out, since I'd read so much about being spanked with a hairbrush.

I should have left it in the store.

At first I thought it was a question of wood vs leather. I like implements which have some give - leather, rubber, the cane, but then to think of it, I HAVE had fun with our wooden spoons and BIKSS's self-finished Christmas paddle too (which is really a large wooden rice spatula from Thailand, sanded and varnished).

Then I thought it was a size issue. But that can't be it either cos we have some really small handy spankers / spoons which I enjoy.

So there's no explanation why this thing would be so un-fun, except that it delivers a sting that's "annoying"! I think that's what I dislike about it - it hurts a ton on the surface, an irritating sting, but without any weight or substance. No thud at all. More like a "splat" than a sting, even. And I could go on about what it feels like, but I shan't. All I know is, I hate that thing. If BIKSS ever wanted to give me a punishment spanking (not that we practise that) that'll probably be the best tool for the job.

Anyway, we have since chucked it into the dresser drawer (that is, *I* have hidden it there) and we haven't used it since two vacations ago where he asked me to pack it and bring it along. YUCK!

Thanks Fondles.

Don't forget, if any bottoms, male or female who would like to do a review of their LEAST favourite implement (you don't have to have a blog) and why, please email me at ronniesoul@gmail.com. I'll keep it secret if it's just for me but if it's OK for me to post it please say so. Pictures are always good.

See you next week for another Bottoms Up.

Our hearts go out to all in Moore who have lost their homes and loved one. You are in our thoughts.

The brush looks interesting. I might buy one as a stocking filler.
My wife has a blue acrylic hairbrush which is devilishly painful and very effective when waved at me in a "do it now" manner.

I might take this as a frinely advice for the next punishment session.

Thanks Ronnie and Fondles for a great review.

I have heard so much about hairbrushes that I am glad we don't have one as a spanking tool.

Don't think I'll tell Rick that this one is available at the body shop! Just today he was talking about investing in a wooden paddle - yikes!

Hugs,
Roz

I'll make sure Bobbie gets one of these LOL

Why is it the first place that a bad implement goes into the dresser drawer.

I agree with fondles completely. It hurts badly - yeah annoyingly so - then nothing at all to show for it once it's over.

I love Body Shop products, but don't think I will buy that hairbrush any time soon. It looks evil!

Hermione

Hope BKISS doesn't check that drawer.

LOL I think BIKSS has given up on it too since I don't respond positively to it. He'd much rather use the Christmas paddle or cane these days.

Thanks for posting this Ronnie, and I appreciate all the comments here :)

Wood is very effective. This brush seems ideal for travelling, and can be carried in the purse, either for use by the woman or the man. Might be fun for a woman to carry it in her purse, knowing it will be used late that night on her bottom...

Macy's in Sherman Oaks even now put up significant display of decorations. And the main benefit would be the fact it is maintaining very low risk factors.

That brush looks mean. I don't care for hairbrushes much more than bathbrushes.
