All coronavirus restrictions in England have ended and that
includes mandatory self-isolation for anyone who tests positive for Covid. I know we are going to have to live with these variants (and
yes there will be more) but personally, I think relaxing our
self-isolation rules is too soon.

ReplyDeleteI hear about the lifting of restrictions there. Omicron is surging here and they are relaxing restrictions too, only those with the virus and household contacts now need to isolate. I'm not comfortable with the situation at all. So glad I am working from home again, especially also as a major protest at our Parliament buildings is getting way out of control and I would have to pass it to get to work.

Much too soon! Ours are being lifted too, although not to the same degree. Better to stay safe for a while longer.

ReplyDeleteAnd yes, seems too soon. Our government announced relaxing of measures before the omicron wave REALLY hit. Now they're back pedalling and saying there will be a delay to said relaxing of measures. I'm happy about that.

Agree on the pic! I think stopping the isolation rules is a huge mistake! We know that people pass on many illnesses when they’re out and about sick. Sheesh, with covid it’s like sabotage. Smh.
