They want to know why? - Here's what P SAID

Well as promised to friends comments last week, in response to my post about my 'Molly Malones' evening when I allegedly got a little tipsy, I asked my nearest and dearest if he would mind telling me quite what I'd said on that particular evening which had caused him to conclude that my bare bottom required a sound spanking the following morning.

He said it wasn't so much what I'd said but how I'd acted, he said I'd been flirtatious...

with those Finnish men (and girls) in the bar, that I'd been frivolous when he'd been trying to discuss business and that I'd distracted him and that Stefan had been embarrassed by my behaviour and he went to the bar regularly, or used to so he spanked me.

I quite liked being called flirtatious even though I didn't think it was true, I told him I couldn't help it, all those nice fair haired men and their catwalk fit girlfriends.

"You don't mind me flirting a teeny bit do you?" I rubbed myself against him, "I mean, am I going to get a sore bottom every time I do it?"

"There better not be an every time," he said but I think he knew I was joking.

As for Stefan, I got an email from him a few days later saying he'd enjoyed meeting up again and Mollys had been a good night, he'd had a few beers over his usual and let his hair down a bit, good fun, he wished we could meet in Dublin some time (he used to work there years ago)

So I wasn't an embarrassment at all!

Never mind, I'm not making an issue of it, and the underlying threat of a sore bottom in the future for flirting appeals to me, even if my actions are misconstrued.

Don't forget tomorrow is - The Great Online Cookie Exchange. Read about it here.

  3. Ronnie, you sound a little flirty in this post! Maybe I'm just seeing the "twinkle in the eye" everywhere because of the season (shruggy grin!). Sounds like good wholesome fun to me ;-) ...and I think P liked it, too! ;-) ;-)

  4. ooh, I don't think BIKSS would like it if I was flirting either... unless we had already set it up earlier that it's something we'd be going out to do, together, but separately, you know?

  5. Ronnie, I think this sounds a bit like a new adventure.
Will there be much flirting in your future? With these kind of rewards, maybe....?

  6. Pretty sure I'm in your husband's camp on this one. Sounds like a win/win from my perspective. I see my wife flirting, but she's coming home with me, then I get to spank her, later I get to tell her why she deserved it. Yep, sounds like a wonderful evening to me.

  7. ¥ou're lucky. I think I could proposition someone and Nick wouldn't notice. Of course the same could be said about me. I think we're getting old. You guys sound like you are just right.

  8. Ronnie,

I seem to remember P flirting in a Sainsbury some time ago. And, you were spanked in the aftermath of the discussion. Hmmmm. "Top" logic I guess.

Thank you for sharing another terrific story and the details of the discussion.

  9. I'm glad Stefan wasn't annoyed or embarassed by your behaviour. Maybe you'll meet him for drinks in a Finnish pub in Ireland someday.

  10. I would wager you know how to casually flirt in a most delightful manner.

Bacall does not seem to even try. It's a running joke that if I leave her for a few minutes, she will be chatting up a strange man when I come back. Her hair and eyes pull them in like a bear to honey.

  11. Flirting carries its risks. I know from experience but it is still good fun.
Getting caught is the big problem.

  12. If someone flirts with me...I think my husband takes it as a compliment, since he says I go home with 'Him'
I think your situation has much promise for future consideration Ronnie!

  13. I've not really keen on flirting with strangers. But we have a couple of friends (known them over 30 years) and I flirt outrageously with the husband and he flirts back. We are known for it. I guess it's because we, and our other halves, know that we have safe and secure marriages and it's all done in fun. In fact, I think we could "our flirt" people half our ages if we put our minds to it!!!

I also like to flirt with my husband. Especially when we are out somewhere like in a restaurant. It's hilarious watching other people's reactions! And it's great knowing what we have in mind for when we arrive home!

  16. Stefan was being a gentleman stating he had a few too many over his limit also, so I might go with P's assessment. A guy's limit is before he acts badly, so a few over that means a lot more than I ate too much cake. However, no problem, we men like women being flirtatious.
Negotiating, you could ask P if you could be spanked if you only have two drinks when going out... :)
    bottoms up and Merry Christmas

  17. I'm quite sure you are a flirt and I think it's great as I am sure P does too. Gives him an excuse to spank you, not that he needs one.

I love to flirt too. it's fun

PK - We have our moments:) Thanks PK.

Joey - I remember that say but no P was innocent it was some lady chatting him up but I got spanked for it. Thanks Joey.

Hermione - Stefan is a real sweetie. Now a drink in Dublin would be a good night out. Thank you Hermione.

OBB - I think a drink in a bar with Bacall would be fun. Thanks Bogey.

Michael - Now everyone seems to believe P that I was flirting. I only have his word for it:) Cheers Michael.

MInelle - But what if he caught you flirting? Thanks Minelle.

  19. I have been dumbfounded to hear Ian tell me that he thought I was flirting with some men we had in for supper one evening. I had no idea..I still think he is out to lunch on that one.
It sounds like all ended well.....and notice that the men all stick together?
