Liebster Award

I was nominated for The Liebster Award by our friend SunnyGirl to answer questions and give random facts about myself.

Lovely of you SG. Thank you so much.

Rules:-

Posts 11 random facts about yourself and answers the 11 questions asked by the person who nominated you.
Pass the award onto 11 other blogs.
Write 11 new questions directed towards your nominees.
Don't nominate the blog who nominated your blog!
Paste the award picture on your blog or choose your own.

Here are SG's excellent questions and my answers.

Do you prefer coffee or tea?  Tea. When I was pregnant I went right off coffee and haven't touched a drop since and that's over 20 years.

Are you democrat, republican or independent?  Conservative, Labour or Liberal (UK's 3 main political parties) None of them. Very disheartened with them all.

What's your favourite part of the country?  Cornwall.

How do you eat an Oreo cookie? I've only had them once and dunked them in my tea. Not over keen, thought them a little sweet.

Do you prefer to drive or fly when travelling? I'd fly every time if possible.

When do you open your Christmas presents?  Christmas morning with a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich.

What's your favourite time of year? Summer.

Do you prefer to read actual books or use an E reader?  Books are very special to me and I still buy them but I'm loving my Kindle.

How do you prefer being spanked? If I had a choice it would be OTK with the hand.

Were you urged to write/blog by PK?  No but I'm glad PK badgered:) encouraged friends to start their own.

What kind of car do you drive?  P's at the moment as I'm looking for a new one.

Not sure if I can give 11 randoms facts that my readers don't already know but here goes...

  1. I wear glasses for reading and computer work.
  2. I'm a jeans girl.
  3. I like Godfather III.
  4. My shoe size is 5.
  5. Just had my flu jab.
  6. My tipple is a nice glass of Rioja red.
  7. I don't like wearing hats. They don't suit me.
  8. Favourite colour in underwear - black.
  9. I take a size 12 in clothes.
10. I walk at least 5 miles a day.
11. I love Christmas pudding.

Now you know me - I don't do rules so I nominate everyone who hasn't already been nominated and if you want to join in, here are my questions and feel free, if you haven't got your own blog, to answer in comments.

  1. What person would you like to meet (living or dead)?
  2. What would you like to do this very second?
  3. What book are you reading?
  4. Your favourite subject at school?
  5. Item of food you hate.
  6. Do you play an instrument?
  7. Your astrological sign?
  8. Do you speak any other languages?
  9. If you could go back in time - what advice would you give yourself?
10. What are you wearing on your feet right now?
11.  Did you have a childhood ambition? Did you achieve it?

  1. Hi Ronnie.

Great post. I'm a tea girl too. In fact I'm sure I am addicted to the stuff. Then again, I was born in the UK with UK parents so although we emigrated, was practically brought up on the stuff.

    Hugs
    Roz

  21. Ronnie, because we had an excellent female, history and geography teacher, I found myself travelling later in life. I also wanted to spank her bare bottom, that is how I became a 'spanko'.
