Bottoms Up

My weekly review of a least favourite implement, as expressed by readers.

AngleBrat writes.....

Nick and I have a pretty large assortment of implements. It's kind of silly, really - there are a lot of them that rarely ever get used. But there are a few that see regular rotation. Most of my spankings are disciplinary in nature, and he usually uses one of several wooden paddles:

All of the above easily strike fear in my heart, but the implement I really fear is a short, curved bath brush.

This was an item I picked up several years ago in a holiday gift set at Walmart for under $3.00. It doesn't look all that scary, but the small size really concentrates and amplifies each swat, and it sets me on fire like nothing else. Most wooden paddles will eventually leave you feeling numb after a bit - this brush is one of the few implements we own that can cut right through that numbness!

Thanks AngleBrat.  That Spencer paddle looks scary.

Don't forget, if any bottoms, male or female who would like to do a review of their LEAST favourite implement (you don't have to have a blog) and why, please email me at ronniesoul@gmail.com. I'll keep it secret if it's just for me but if it's OK for me to post it please say so. Pictures are always good.

See you next week for another Bottoms Up.

  1. Ah the dreaded bathbrush in all its forms and sizes. A much disliked instrument of pain.
That Spencer Paddle looks much like ours. My wife likes the satisfying whack it can deliver with a good swing.

Yikes, they all look pretty scary to me. I used to love playing jokari as a kid LoL

  3. Thank you AngelBrat. I can take the thud of a big wooden paddle, but those little ones are really stingy and nasty.

Thank you Ronnie for an excellent series.

  4. Ahh... we have the same brush and I agree that it is horrible. Nick rarely uses it, but I've found it does have one good feature. It's a great back scratcher!!

  5. Hi Ronnie,

I can confirm everything Angelbrat said about that curved handled brush. We actually have two of them, not that they are ever going to break or wear out! Ow. Just ow. Never do I feel more thoroughly spanked than after a session with that brush.

    Hugs,
    Bonnie

  9. I agree the bigger paddles make me go numb after a while. We have a hair brush that looks similar to your bath brush, without the 'helpful' angle. It can certainly reignite the fire down below right away!

    Thanks Ronnie and AngelBrat.

PK - I'd put a label on it - back scratcher only:) Thanks PK.

Bonnie - Funny, sometimes its the smaller implements that hurt the most. Thanks Bonnie.

Hermione - I remember reading on AngleBrat's blog about the use of the Jokari paddle. I've tried to find one but with no luck, maybe a good thing I didn't:) Thanks Hermione.

Katie - The Spencer paddle makes me go ouch just looking at it:( Thanks Katie.

Wilma - I'm glad our little hairbrush hardly ever comes into play. I wish the bath brush didn't. Thanks Wilma.

  18. My wife uses a hairbrush, her mother told her it brings the best results. The "spanking dance" I do afterwards confirms this.
I can plead, squirm, beg all I want, but my wife states, she will determine when the spanking is finished. Corner time, facing the wall is when once again she feels I have learned my lesson. If a girlfriend or her mother visit and I'm doing corner time I stay doing corner time, I cannot leave and my wife once again thinks it adds to the punishment, displaying a very red, spanked bare bottom.
