Film Swats
Get those grey cells working. Can you name any of the actors or maybe the films?
I know the girl is Shirley Temple.
Not to worry if you can't - I know a who man can. Our friend Chross.
i think the last one is one of the Confessions of a ..."movie but i have no idea which one....im dying to know the titles of teh movies, especially the western ones...i love a good cowboy movie and all the better with a good spanking in them hugs kiwi xx
I know even less about these movies than Hermione. Maybe, my advice comes a little bit to late, but I think the guy with Shirley Temple should buy himself a bigger hairbrush. She looks hopelessly bored.
Not sure I have watched the first or last, but the others I have seen at one time as well as on Chross. Thanks Ronnie...now I may venture over to watch again...LOL

My original reply reminds me of one of those old logic puzzles. You know, the "Bob lives in the pink house next to Jan, who lives two houses away from David. David lives in the green house with a siamese cat. Karen has a cocker spaniel...." type that go on and on until you can piece together all the clues and know who lives in which house, what color the house is, what car they all drive, and what kind of pet everybody has....lol
i knew the last one was british - just looks it lol....and ive seen it somewhere before. im going to have to see if i can find a copy of across the wide missouri - i just adore clark cable :) thanks chross for the info

Bacall suspects that the spanker in first western pic is Peter Lawford. In the next one the spanker is William Holden.

ReplyDeleteUsed to be a time I probably could have named all of them. Sadly, memory fades....
The 4th one is from a television show, "My Little Margie".
The last one, I believe, was called "Ups and Downs of a Handyman". It may have had a different name at some point.
Number 9 is "Across The Wide Missouri". The spanker is Clark Gable.
Number 10 is a publicity still, there was no such spanking in the movie. Can't recall the title, it may have been something like, "Too Young to Kiss".
The first two come from the same movie, I can tell you that much.
The third one (I think it's the third one) the spanker is Jean Arthur. The movie might be called, "Her Secretary", but I can't recall for sure.
None of the pictures are of John Wayne.
Hopefully, that's some help.
