The Swish

I've always, in my fantasies, loved the swish of the cane. Even in cartoons the writing of the word ...SWISH...or SWISHHHH!!! with a few extra letters for emphasis... has always appealed to me. Yet I've had the cane many times, as you know, and hardly noticed the swish, I was thinking about it on the weekend, where did all the swishes go? I mean I can remember a few but by no means all, nowhere near in fact, and yet swishes must have been there. I suppose my mind was preoccupied with other considerations, my bottom not the least.

Well I got caned on the weekend, it's why I was thinking about swishes. There were quite a few of them, more than thirty I know for sure because I kept count in sets of six up to that point and there were a few after because my husband thought my bottom needed some diagonal lines and a few before it started, for theatrical effect and, as he put it, to get his swing in, whatever that means.

But back to swishes. It was the pre-caning theatrical ones that got my mind going, they were louder than I could ever remember them being and they made me shudder, in fact I didn't want the caning and I was whimpering at each swish and thinking how mad I must be. Then it started and it was 'Swish...Crack', of course, the extra sound of cane on bottom and the awful bite to distract my thoughts. As you can imagine, or those of you who have been caned will know, it got more intense as wriggling and pleading and 'Be quiet girl' and 'You're having your bottom caned because I said so' and the like came into it all of which add to what makes a caning an 'experience' for me.

After it was done and I'd been caned to my husband's satisfaction and left to get over it while he went downstairs to start preparing a wonderful gourmet meal for two, I thought again about the swishes. I got up, my bottom flesh was tight which made me smile and wince at the same time, and picked up the cane he'd just used then retrieved our curly handle one and the otk one with the detachable handle which we took to Ireland. I swished each one of them a few times and the sounds were different. Then I did the same in the office and again in our son's occasional room and noticed the sounds were different not just between each cane but in each room, presumably because of size, furnishings perhaps even whether the windows or door were open, I didn't try every permutation. The 'swishiest' sounding cane was definitely the one he'd just used, you can bend it almost double, the least swishy sounding was the curly school cane which is much more rigid.

I told my husband what I'd discovered over our starter (baby squid plus my first ever scallop - which I didn't like) and he said it was good analysis. Good fucking analysis, I thought, this wasn't a business meeting for christssake, then he asked me what was wrong with my scallop and I told him I didn't like the texture so he had it and gave me some squid in return, then he asked me how my bottom was and I coyly told him it hurt. He seemed pleased with that.

We had a Portuguese dish of clams with crispy belly pork as a main course, it was delicious did I ever tell you my husband is a decent cook? Oh OK. I brought up the swishing thing again, only briefly, to let P know it had quite frightened me hearing it before he'd caned me, he told me it was right that a girl should be quite frightened before she's caned, then he asked me if there had been any other feelings in with the fear. I went coy again and felt myself blush, I didn't answer, I didn't need to. Then we reverted to other stuff. He helped me clear away and do the dishes, touched my bum a couple of times in the kitchen, fuck it does things to me, and we watched a movie later with a bottle of Rioja.

We went to bed early and I sucked him off, god he was full and I swallowed as much as I could, then we went to sleep me with my caned bottom pressed into his lap. P was awake early he always is Sunday morning, he still fetches the newspaper from down the road even though he can read several on line, he woke me too with his hand between my legs. It didn't take me long to respond and I reached across to find his cock standing up like a pole, perhaps it was the shellfish, anyway I climbed aboard it not to waste such an invitation and orgasmed within minutes. He left me in an afterglow to snooze for a while.

Have a good week.

The swish is exciting and reminds me why I am in the position I am, ready to receive the strokes I crave.
You had great Saturday by the description you give. You seem to take a lot more cane strokes now than in the past.

I can see what the swish does. The subject is certainly worth further, ahem, analysis.

Wow Ronnie, it sounds as though you had a wonderful weekend :) There's nothing like the swish of the cane to make the belly do somersaults...among other parts lol. Strangely enough, I don't always remember the swish either. Interesting experiment :)

I too love the sound of a cane both on it's way and at impact. No other implement has quite such an evocative sound. Straps and paddles may produce an interesting thwack on impact but only a cane can produce that sibilant swish and agonising thwack. The only implement I have experienced that comes close is a carpet beater. I seem to remember that you didn't like being punished with a carpet beater a few years ago (although I may be confusing you with another blogger) but to me it combines the sound of a cane with the impact of a paddle.

Hi Ronnie, this sounds like a wonderful weekend. I think hearing the sound of the cane when I am not in trouble is nice, somehow it brings up naughty thoughts. However when in trouble, my first reaction is just like yours, it makes me tense and nervous. And afterwards there are naughty thoughts, depending on the situation. I loved how nicely your Sunday morning started. Wishing you more of that and a happy week.

I love broiled scollops in butter. They have become too dear in price to enjoy.

Ron loves the swishing sound some of our implements make. The sound makes me cringe, but in a good way.

I love scallops, but baby squid? No thanks! Leave them in the ocean to grow up, please.

I've not experienced enough canings (PK's regifted) to notice. I do know when reading I've always thought of the swish and it makes me squirm. I can understand that once it starts you're thinking of other things.

I don't like scallops either.

Glad you had a good weekend and a great dinner (minus the starter).

What an absolutely delightful weekend. Thanks for sharing all the details. Must admit I rarely hear any swish, Cindy uses short, rapid strokes when using the rigid cane.
Just wondering, did you ask to be caned this weekend, or, was P just in the mood to cane you, or, were you naughty (deliberately??) to merit such lovely attention.

Michael - I still hate but love the cane and yes I take many many more now. Thank you.

MrJ - Not too much more analysis:) Thank you.

Roz - I shall be listening for it more now. Thanks.

Simon - You are so right, the cane does have a evocative sound. I can hear it now:) Yes we did try the cb but it didn't do anything for me and P didin't like using it. Thank you.

Nina - Yes it depends on what you are being caned for on how you look at it. We have a few canes. The one P used is the longest and makes the most swishy noise. I hope your week is a good one. Thanks.

OBB - They weren't too expensive, usually are though. Thanks.

Hermione - Yes cringe but in a good way. I don't eat them very often but they were a good price on the weekend. Thanks.

Jan - Sure is. Thanks.

SG - I think it's quite evil, you are lying on the bed waiting for that first strike but all you can hear is the swish as he swings it through the air. Thanks

Red - It's our long cane that makes the loudest swish. Yep I was naughty and got dealt with:) Thanks.

Love,
Ronnie

I love such a happy post from you. You can keep your swishes but the love making part was lovely! May your whole week be as much fun.

I know you loved what happened! You make me smile when you analyze the details!
'Swish!' I'd cringe at the cane.... But so happy you don't!

I was reading away about your swishes when I spied a familiar picture In the sidebar. Thank you! Back to the swishes, I love the sound too, even if they mostly exist in my imagination. Sounds like a lovely weekend.

What a lovely weekend Ronnie. Always nice to have a great meal cooked by your husband. I haven't experienced the cane yet, but Bear wants to buy one. Any suggestions? Have a good week.

PK - Thanks. I wish it was Friday:(

Minelle - I think to do another analysis P should use all our canes one after the other then I would have a better idea:) Thanks.

DF - I haven't started your book but it's on my TBR list amongst others:) Thanks.

Cat - HaHa. I'll take it for you. I didn't like the texture of the scallops. Thanks.

Lindy - It was lovely. Thanks. Not so much on the type of the cane (though
personally I prefer the thinner ones) it's how it's used. Bear will need to practice first to be accurate. A cushion is good to start practising. When you do try the cane please let us know how you like it.
