Brass Bottom

Would you have your bottom cast in brass?

That's what this lady had done for her husband 50th birthday.

What a wonderful and unique present.

Well you probably would not want it in the sitting room but it is a generous thought nonetheless.

Not sure what the children will do with it when they both quit this mortal coil.

I wonder how one goes about casting their bottom in brass? I'm sure the person one goes to enjoys doing it, and yes a very nice present. You can always tell guests it's a gesture that he can kiss your butt if he does not like what you are doing.

Hi Ronnie, very interesting idea, but not for me. Yes, I wonder where one would keep it.

Amazing! No I wouldn't, but I think it's lovely.

It's not far from Venus de Milo. I would have it on display.

I would have not have a problem displaying a sculpture something like that....but not my bottom....and purely naked.
It is lovely.

Ronnie, I would rank this masterpiece of ASS BRASS, with Goya's masterpiece THE NAKED MAJA. Especially since this sexually erotic bare bottom, is encased in suspender-belt and stockings.

This is awesome! But maybe not so practical - I'm with Michael - what would the kids do with it when they're gone? lol

It reminds me of the 'leg lamp' that the father in "A Christmas Story" puts up in the window.

Interesting... I wonder how they casted the mold.... and how they explained it to the manufacturer.

Joey - I thought so. Thanks.

Foothill - I think the daughter would keep it as she thought it lovely. Thanks.

Wow, this a great idea!! Even for an anniversary or Christmas prezzie too! Though if I did something like this for my OH, it would have to remain locked away until the kids had grown and flew the nest!

Great post & blog, new follower :-)

This is a gorgeous work of art! Awesome! I love it! The only thing about it I don't like is the thong, and she would've been better to have gone without!

I attended a ceramics workshop once where a guy did nothing but create sculptures of boobs. They were beautiful too - he had them in all shapes and sizes and textures.

I would have no problem putting something like this brass on display at home, and it wouldn't bother me in the slightest what happened to it when I was gone.
