Remember

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.

Our ceremonies have yet to start here today. Our 11th hour is still many hours away, yet we will remember now, and forever. For those who have and those who continue to Serve.
Beautiful post Ronnie

We should never forget and give thanks to all who lost their lives and for the heroes serving now.

Pref - I was thinking of you and wondering if you managed to get to Ypres. Glad you did.

Love,
Ronnie
