Chained to an Aga and Don Draper

I was reading an article, a snippet really, in an old copy of Style, written by Camilla Long, one of the Sunday Times emerging stars (in my opinion anyway). It was about ladies' underwear as marketed by Victoria's Secret and in particular one of their models who made some comment about all you need to get your man is sexy underwear. Clearly Long, with her obvious intellect, suspected that some girls - and men - might like to think there could be more to it than that.

In an obvious put down for the model who'd made the comment, Long said she could imagine her 'chaining herself to the Aga, dressed only in expensive knickers and suspenders, Stepford Wives style, waiting for an imaginary Don Draper to come down off a whisky high and do the necessary' or words to that effect. Now, I don't want to take a side in this really I don't, and I certainly don't regard myself a Stepford Wives type, but the thought of being chained up to the Aga in classy knickers and stockings

waiting for Mr Draper to, ahem, attend to me did have a certain appeal.

Only trouble is we don't have an Aga.

Back home later.

AGA's have a certain class which Rangemasters just do not project. You could always drape yourself over the kitchen table.

I'm already familiar with VS. Aga was something I had to google tho. Is it strange that I want one now??

You got me with AGA. I goggled it to find it's an ugly "pro" oven.

It would be fine with me, if I found her tied to our Frigidaire or just wandering around the house in her garterbelt.

Agas aren't very common in North America, but they seem to be quite a wonderful and versatile appliance.

I'm nowhere near a VS store; I've always had to order from a catalogue and more recently, online.

I wouldn't mind Don Draper dropping by to watch me cook!

Hugs,
Hermione

Ronnie: Do you watch Don Draper in Mad Men across the pond? One of my favorite shows.

fun fantasy... you are a creative wench (smiling), so wonder how you could arrange something similar for someday when you are guaranteed no one else will come in the door except P. Live your dreams

Didn't know what an AGA was either, relied on other commenters so I didn't have to look it up. Can't imagine being chained to an Aga but the rest sounds a okay to me.

Michael - Draping myself across the kitchen table doesn't have the same appeal:) Thanks Michael.

Joey - Your welcome. Thanks for stopping by.

Fondles - But not for cooking on:) Thanks Fondles

OBB - I'd get spanked if P found me wandering around the house in just by suspender belt:) Thanks OBB.

Hermione - I'd want him to do a little more than watch me cook:) Not bought any of their lingerie yet. Thanks Hermione.

FD - Yes, one of my favourite programmes. Thanks FD.

Red - A girl can dream:) Thanks Red.

SG - Sorry, should have included a link for my American friends. Thanks SG.

Love,
Ronnie

We inherited an Aga with this house. You either love them or hate them. I love it, can't bake on anything else and when we turn it off once a year when we go on holiday the kitchen is so cold and it feels as though there has been a death in the family. Peter rather more circumspect and couldn't believe the estate agent revelled in the fact you can stand your cup of tea on it to keep it warm...'bloody expensive way of doing it' were his words. ANYWAY, thanks Ronnie...you may just change his whole view on the matter. As I'm more than happy to oblige.Subject to one or two practical adaptations so that the handles don't burn my nipples off. They get very hot and that would be a problem. Yea Ronnie - "I love my Aga.com!!!

And have I chained myself to it in sexy underwear?! Well, no that's for Starman to know and the rest of you to wonder about!!!!

I did, however, wear my Ann Summers black knickers with the heart shape cut our the back whilst cooking his breakfast over Christmas; but having to wear an apron sort of ruined the effect! LOL

Many hugs, and a Happy New Year! Ami

Sorry, spelling and typos galore!

Was trying not to think about Sarah, above chained to her Aga. I was wondering whether nipple covers would help with the hot handles?! LOL

I was VERY confused until I read the comments. I thought Aga was the name of a person. Why be chained to a person...?

Maybe you should wear suspenders and nothing else, just to get a spanking. :)

Chained to an Aga....had no clue? However Victoria Secret and Don Draper that's another story!

Oh well, I suppose when you cannot find an AGA, you'll think of something to be tied to.
I understand that the underwear is the important thing here.
I do wonder about P's reaction. Him being a gentleman, he'll probably hang his jacket over your shoulder and then, after having done the "necessary thing to avoid you being chilly", sit down and enjoy the view.

Blondie - Yes, me too. Thanks Blondie.

Sarah - Maybe takes Ami's suggestion and wear nipple covers. Let me know how that goes LOL. Thanks Sarah.

Ami - And a lovely sight that must have been for your Starman. Thanks for sharing Ami. I've mentioned the nipples covers to Sarah:)

Red - You are right there Red. Thanks.

Ana - Mmmm I think a little too obvious even for me:) Thanks Ana.

Minelle - Let's forget the Aga and just think about Don Draper:) Thanks Minelle.

Bas - More like "What the devil are you doing like that?" and spank for it. So, it would work. Thanks Bas.

Love,
Ronnie
