Invest in Canes

My husband amused me the other day, he sent me an email he'd received, selling investments in bamboo forests, apparently offering a 503% return on capital.

With the appalling current sate of global economic worries he said he's getting more junk emails than ever offering dubious investments of all kinds and this particular one amused him.

He said, "I though you might be interested in this, they do say invest in what you know and understand."

Ha! Very funny P. I'm more likely to be on the receiving end of bamboo than investing in it.

Maybe it's being an American but I just can't get on the cane bandwagon. But I do like how P thinks about investments.

My friend Rayne posted an excellent scene involving the cane that she scripted and acted out with Mr Arthur. See Mischief Mangaged. At a spanking social Saturday nite, we talked about the scene and the role of the cane in English education. I hope to experience a junior cane and maybe a senior cane at an upcomming spanking weekend.

You are so adorable in the white lingerie. That sort of outfit is designed to make men drool. And it frames your bottom so well for the cane.

That cane is more of a rod, than whippy. You must have been very bad.

The cane is such a delightful toy to use.

An American

Nope, canes are an absolute no-no. Loved the lingerie in the pic tho! And, I grow bamboo in my garden. It is a plant and for holding up my runner beans and sweet peas! xxxxx

PK - As he said, invest in what you know and he knows all about canes.

Joey - Thanks, will take a read. If you really want to experience the cane, I hope you do Joey. I would be interested to hear.

Sara - I think I may have had a different view of canes if they been used in my school.

OBB - A long time ago I did have a corset like that one but never looked as good as she does:)

Daisy - Shhh, better not tell P you can grow bamboo in the garden:)

Appreciate you all stopping by, thank you.

With oil reserves running out in the future it might mean the end for Lexan paddles. Natural products might be the way to go :^)

I say leave the bamboo right where it is! Pandas are an endangered species, and it's their main food source.

Now a rattan forest might be a thought. Nobody eats rattan, that I know of:)

ronnie said...

Oh yes your right Hermione, I'd forgotten Pandas eat bamboo as do the mountain Gorillas in Africa.
